About twice a week through Door Dash or Skip The Dishes. They leave it outside of our apartment. I’ve also ordered Hello Fresh.

We have been doing it about once a week. We try to be very careful and take everything out of the containers without touching it and throw the containers and sanitize.
So far, all local places as well.

We went to Taco Bell. I think we got more than I order and the guy who came out was very thankful! It was good for a treat.
Then I wanted a burger so I got the mick d. IT WAS horrible and cold!
We don’t eat out a lot during flu season, so this was a “treat” for us. I don’t see getting take out again.

We've been getting takeout once a week. I need the break from cooking, and it gives me a chance to have a break from my family too!

Only twice since March 19. A drive thru taco shop that we love. Huge portions. We don’t drink soda so we don’t buy drinks or care about refills.

Yes once or twice a week from local spots. Even though the CDC said the risk is minimal from take-out, we are careful. I bring it in to a specific spot on the counter. Re-plate everything into our own dishes. Throw away all the to-go containers. Disinfect the place on the counter. Wash hands. Eat and enjoy!

No, but we rarely eat takeout normally.

We have food allergies, so we usually stick with chains as they have better, published, official allergy policies. We almost always eat Tex Mex, so when I say refills I mean things like chips, salsas, tortillas.

Yes, once or twice a week and only local restaurants. No fast food or chains. We have done curbside pickup but then we started using Waitr and they leave it on the porch. No contact. We are careful to wipe everything down and transfer to our own dishes.

We are trying to support local businesses once or twice a week. We do the no contact delivery or pick up and transfer all food to our own dishes. Lots of hand washing. I really do want some of our local businesses to survive. I’m not sure that my purchasing take out once a week will help, but we are trying.

We ordered dinner from a local Thai place last night and it was a much needed break for all of us.
It was the first time we've had food prepared by someone else since the CA stay at home order went into effect.

We have been home for a month now and Friday is the first time we ordered out, no contact they left it on the front porch. Didn't do anything special except take it out of the container and put it on our own plates.

Once a week is what we’ve been doing. I’ll pick up, and it does seem that all areas have found ways to keep the contact to a minimum.

Yes. Only local places, though. We do no contact curbside, and usually order and pick up when we are already out.

We only do delivery though as we can't go anywhere except grocery stores, pharmacies and the doctor.

In one way, I would love to. I have no safety concerns about having take out. It's just too complicated right now. I could go to a restaurant and pick up an order to go, which would allow me to use debit rather than credit (I don't have a credit card), but that just seems like WORK. I would have to get dressed nicely and I am not motivated at this point.
I can't get delivery, because even if I could use PayPal or Interac, it would be too complicated to get the food to me. Management is not letting anyone in the complex from the outside world. So I would have to wheel all the way around to the security gate, or get in my car & drive there.
They've even tried to restrict us from leaving, but they can't, at least in my building, legally do that.
I figure on the bright side, I'm saving money.

Not often, but I have a few times. I really am trying to minimize contact with people, so I won’t do it a lot, but I do like supporting local favorites.

I got barbecue from a local place delivered this weekend. It was crazy expensive. But I got enough for two or three meals. And it was a nice treat. I also took all the recommended precautions, including transferring to my own plates, wiping down containers, Cloroxing the counter... But I am still paranoid. I just woke up from a dream that I got covid from it

We haven't, but we rarely do takeout at the best of times; maybe pizza once a month from a local restaurant. They are still open for takeout and delivery, so we might do it one day.

I'm picking up curbside once per week specifically to support local economy albeit a small amount. This includes chain restaurants since the employees at these places need their jobs, too.

Once a week we have pizza delivered. It's a local company and we've been using them for years. Before all this, we collected, now they deliver.
Ironically the first week we needed delivery because we were self-isolating, the pizzas took 3 hours to arrive and they weren't answering their phones. We were in a real quandary because neither of us was supposed to be out, but it was nearly 10pm and we didn't know whether to swallow our disappointment (DH was HANGRY) and eat sandwiches or wait. In the end they came, and were very apologetic - they'd had a power cut and lost light, the ovens and the phone lines. Poor things!

We rarely get take away anyway, maybe Thai once every couple of months, so no because our local Thai is closed. We could get pizza delivered but we don't need all those extra calories anyway

We have done it once -- yesterday. Partly due to worrying about health of the cook preparing the food and partly to save money.
It was from Chili's. There are very few local restaurants within a short drive where I live, but tons of chains. And of the locals, almost all immediately shuttered their doors at the very beginning -- it is my understanding that most of them were "hobby" restaurants owned by retirees who did not want the hassle of dealing with business right now.
Of those that are open, one has no website and therefore no way to see a menu, so short of calling and asking them to recite their menu over the ohone, not sure how I would know if I even want to order from them. The other is a really good Mexican place, but not everyone in our current household likes Mexican and it seems mean for one person to not get restaurant food.

Yes, once or twice a week. Only from locally owned places we're trying to help stay in business - no corporate chains.

Yes, we had pizza 2 weeks ago and Famous Daves last week (FD wasn't very good). Other than FD, we plan to support local places when we do get carry out
ETA, Easter dinner was from a banquet hall, so we are still eating that!
