Curious what kind of mask you are wearing.

I sewed us all masks a couple of weeks ago.
Tightly woven cotton with a pocket for a filter. We dispose the filter each time and wash the mask.

I wear a cloth one in the office because I am essential. Each day I wear a different one, they're washed after each use.

I have a couple of cloth ones. I keep a bandana in a ziploc bag in my car in case I forget sometime. I've only gone out twice though. I don't wear one if I go for a bike ride and am way more than 6' away from people.

Cloth sewn, sometimes surgical, and I had to go to another hospital for a procedure and I wore an N95. Why, IDK, since I'm not even wearing that at work.

I have some hand sewn masks that have been quarantined in the garage that DH's friend made. They have pipe cleaner sewn in, so I have been trying decide on how to wash. I may try to make a slit to take out the pipe cleaner. We both wear glasses, so it would be helpful to have it. ETA.... they have a pocket for a filter as well. I will use the blue grease wipe type garage paper towels for the filter.
When I went senior grocery shopping last week, I wore a folded up bandanna, so that is how I voted. My glasses fogged for quite a while, then adjusted to the store temperature and stopped.

I haven't found one that fits me yet and I hate wearing anything (and very few people around are wearing them anyhow) so I didn't vote. I've tried a scarf (too hot) and a handmade one (too big)....I'm the Goldilocks of the masks.

Hand made for our weekly trip to the grocery store. No mask for walks around our neighborhood. I never come close to being near to another person.

I picked other because I am using the masks that you use for General house work. I guess they are called dust mask, they are found at the hardware store. I put a blue paper towel inside as a “filter”.

I voted other cause I have both a handmade one and surgical one. Both drive me crazy though, they fog up my glasses for one and it's hard to breathe. But I wear it. I have to at work if I am walking around (not in my office) and out in public which I have been. I think I like the surgical one better, it is lighter weight. I am thankful for this one.. DD got it for me.. she works at the hospital. But it won't last too long. (Can you even wash them?)

But it won't last too long. (Can you even wash them?) I spray mine with 91% alcohol when I return home. Then I take a silkwood shower.

I said other. DH bought cloth sports masks that have a replaceable filter.

Hand sewn with a pocket with a coffee filter inside. I wash the mask after each use and change the filter after each use. When I run out of coffee filters I’ll switch to paper towels.

I have one N95 that my Dad gave me since I have asthma ... he had a few opened ones from his shop. I use that one sparingly.
I also have a hand made one with a filter pocket. I use that most often because it can be washed.

I double up on bandanas. One in a big triangle, tied in back, and over that a tri-fold with hair ties to loop around the ears.
Just wearing the tri-fold one, it felt too loose over my nose.

We have been wearing random masks from former home improvement projects DH found in the basement. I have a ton of fabric, but I don't think I have the proper elastic or interfacing to make a mask. I'm going to take inventory this week and see what I need to buy.

Handsewn pleated fabric in Halloween print with skulls on it. If I have to wear the dang thing, at least I can look like a badass. Plus people give you a wide berth when you literally have a "deathmask" on.

mine is cloth but not hand sewn, I bought it a few years ago to wear when the pollen is bad. It has pockets for a disposable filter on the inside.

I just have a bandana right now, but I have it folded over several times at least. I have some filter fabric and some cloth masks ordered, they just aren't here yet. Our outings are limited to 1-2x per week in general and only to the grocery store (usually every 2 weeks) and the pharmacy drive through (about once every 1to 2 weeks).

I have a winter hat with a face mask sewn in. It is very warm. My sister sewed us masks with N 99 ( I think this is what it is) material that is sterilized in the oven. We are saving those if someone gets sick, or for summer use.

We have a couple surgical masks left from when our daughter had open heart surgery last fall. We had to mask up to be around her for a week or so.
