Good morning. Tonight's dinner will depend upon how today goes and if I'm too tired. It will either be ham casserole or takeout night.
What's on your menu?
christine58, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Remember, that it's a day ending in Y. That means doing something you enjoy today. Big ((((HUGS)))) my fabulous tribe.

Good morning! christine58 Keeping you and your family in my prayers. Last night we ended up with takeout. Tonight, one wants meatloaf and the other one wants noodles in meat sauce. So it will be one or the other. Today is a beautiful sunny day. I haven’t looked at the weather report; but I hope it stays this way.

Good morning! The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it is going to be mid 70's again today. Dinner will be Chicken Divan with some sides. We watched the finale of Modern Family last night. Glad it's over. They kept it on a few years too many in MHO.

Make both then no cooking tomorrow 👍🏻 My IP soup turned out so well I’m making spaghetti squash in it for the white bean tomato bake I keep threatening to make. christine58 my prayers are with your family right now.

Our dinner tonight will be ricotta and spinach pie, one of our regular favourites. Not much happening here today - I went out to get a referral note for my mammogram next week, and did some grocery shopping while I was out. DH has been in meetings all day, but says he’s on his last one now, then will head out for a walk. christine58 - continued prayers for your family. Take care.

Good Morning ladies!
DH is working on his taxes today, so I'm totally staying to myself in my craft room. He owns two businesses, so its never pretty.
I have a pork roast in the crock pot, I'm not sure what I'll have with it for dinner, but, this much is figured out.
Wishing everyone a peaceful and productive day!

I got some frozen beer battered cod in my last Shipt order, so we will have that tonight- either sandwiches to use up some buns or as is along with pierogies and corn. Canned corn is virtually impossible to get right now. Ugh

Our system at work is down so I'm just wandering the house aimlessly right now.
We didn't have the sausages last night because Jeremy apparently was passing by KFC on his way home yesterday and the chicken smelled good to him. So he brought home a bucket. Sausages tonight and as it's snowing, I've decided to put them in a sheet pan dinner with sweet potatoes and green peppers.

I've been eating terribly, so I prepped a lot of salads this morning.
Tonight, I did roasted beet, apple, goat cheese and balsamic pecan salad.
Tomorrow, avocado toast salad. (avocado, homemade croutons, tomado, onion, chick pea and grilled halloumi)

Not sure about dinner yet. What to do with a full fridge and pantry? This afternoon I need to organize the fridge so I can make an informed decision about dinner.
Yesterday I made the Hilton DoubleTree cookie recipe that is all over the internet right now. They are really good! Then I ate so many last night, I felt like crap when I went to bed. I sent almost all the cookies to DH's work today.
Stay strong today!

Thanks to all for the prayers. I was ok today till I read his obituary...then I lost it when it said that he was welcomed into his great grandpa's loving arms (my dad)

More hugs today from the arrows, *christine*. Sending the two softest to your nephew and his wife. ❤️ Huge salad, asparagus, angel hair pasta, scallops, 16 tons of butter. Thanks for the thread. As you commanded, most Grand Leader, I’m enjoying catching up on threads on 2Ps. ❤️

Working on some more masks for family today. My sister got hers in the mail yesterday and she gave her DH one. I didn't realize he needed any so am making him some in less frou frou fabrics. Also making a few for DD's friends. I might take a nap this afternoon. Had a rough night last night and didn't really get to sleep until 4 am. I've been up since 9:30 am. Dinner will be rechauffe tonight. There is plenty of the steak I grilled last night. Might make a salad to go with it, though with the cool weather I'm not really feeling like a salad. For me, soup is winter and salad is summer. Anyone else that way, or am I just weird? Hugs to christine58 at this most difficult time for her family.

For me, soup is winter and salad is summer. Absolutely! Although we eat salad all year long, entree salads are for warmer weather.

I’m seriously contemplating driving to Skiatook (40 miles north) to get take out from Luigi’s. They have THE BEST Alla Panna tortellini. And I have a serious craving for it. It’s sunny and warm today. It’s be nice to go for a drive.

I haven’t posted here in awhile because dinner is - food whatever I feel like preparing & eating after my work from home headache. I mostly ‘choose’ at the last minute, winging it, because if I look up recipes I’m sure I’m missing an ingredient.
But I’ve been ‘here’ just not posting

Well, I haven't decided yet. I have 3 roasted beets, a chunk of leftover roast beef, 1/2 a cooked potato and a cooked carrot for leftovers. I thought about a hash of sorts, but that's not really floating my boat. I thought I had some goat cheese, but I'll have to search for it. Maybe a salad with beets and goat cheese...my dh doesn't like beets though. We may just end up doing take out, we haven't done that in weeks. My doctor says I can start walking again, short distances!! That will mean more time in the kitchen, which at this point, is a good thing! scrapmaven What's in your ham casserole?

Tonight we are having burgers and fries with a side of asparagus that needs to get eaten!!
Last night we got take-out. It was the first time since we've been quarantined. It was from my dh's favorite Asian place. I would love to rave about how good it was but, honestly it was meh. I guess I don't miss eating out as much as I thought I did!! However it was nice not having to cook and do dishes.
Thinking of you today christine58

SunnySmile, I'll post the recipe later, but it's so easy. Ham, onion, allspice, potatoes topped w/cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, butter and breadcrumbs. Easiest recipe. I put the potatos in the food processor so that they're all one size.

It’s be nice to go for a drive. I say do it. We drove that far on the weekend to wave hi to a friend. It was good for all of us to have a change of scene and a little eerie to be on clear CA freeways. My doctor says I can start walking again, short distances!! Great news! I'm sure you are so happy to be on your feet again. Hugs, christine58. The kids are on dinner duty tonight so I think their plan is tortellini with jarred tomato sauce and a Caesar salad.

We will have rechauffe enchiladas tonight, with rechauffe rice and beans and a salad. We had onion sprouts in the planter this morning, so we'll have three spring onions in the salad!
