Since peas are the most creative people .... Today they formally announced that we are no going back to school. Sigh. I'm trying to figure out how to best honor our seniors and I would love any suggestions you might have. This class is very special to us and have had their fair share of hardships. We have 15 seniors in our program. I'd love to hear your ideas .... things you've seen .... I am open to anything. We are forming a committee of some of our underclassman to help us devise a plan, but if I can bring ideas to them, I think it will help us come up with the best plan. These are the things we normally do: At our banquet, we announce the honors each senior has achieved with our Honor Society. They receive a pin. We announce scholarships, our department awards, etc. We are planning to hold a virtual awards banquet so we will announce their Theatre honors, scholarships, etc. Dinner and dancing obviously won't be included We do a photo slideshow with the seniors baby photos and present photo - this will still be a part of our banquet. We normally make a composition book and have all our underclassman write a note to each senior wishing them well, sharing memories, etc (like signing a yearbook but just our theatre kids). After our final performance of the year, we have "senior bows". We call each senior to the center of the stage, where an underclassman speaks about them and then we tell them to take their final bow. It's super sentimental and open to family, friends, teachers, etc. Each senior also paints a brick in our dressing rooms/shop. We are having them design them and as soon as it's safe, we will set times for them to come back to paint. Thank you!

Here are a couple of ideas I saw...
-Senior photo used to make a banner that is hung from the street lights
-Senior photo used to make yard signs lined up in front of the school

I think you can move all of that to an online platform. Have the kids video it if needed.
