These are additional symptoms to the ones already known. I knew about the loss of taste or smell, but hadn't heard about the other ones. link
chills
repeated shaking with chills
muscle pain
headache
sore throat
new loss of taste or smell
The first week in March, I started feeling like I was coming down with something--sore throat and headache. I woke up after falling asleep on the couch feeling feverish, but the weirdest part was the chills and violent shaking--like not being able to control my body I was shaking so hard. I have since wondered if I did have it because I have never experienced anything like that before. I felt bad for a couple of days, and went for a flu test so I could get Tamiflu if I had it, since I had surgery scheduled for the next week.

Interesting.
My dd had a virus last spring that lasted 2 weeks. She had such bad chills on and off every day (whenever her meds wore off) that she’d have trouble drinking, eating, talking and walking. I’d never seen anything like that. We took her to ER around day 10. She was tested for flu and was negative. They said they’d been seeing some bad, long lasting viruses.

I wonder more and more if I had this virus in February - I had a cough, sore throat, body aches, headaches, and extreme tiredness. At the time I thought I had probably been exposed to flu and had a mild case due to having had the flu shot last fall.
Reports now are that the virus was here much earlier than we thought, so it seems possible - but I'll never actually know.

By the first, the fever, chills, headache, and body aches hit. Slept that Monday through Wednesday. I’ve never been so sick in my life. And, that cough lasted for two and a half months. Now, I wonder. It will be nice when the anti-body test for COVID 19 become available.

I had chills, shaking with chills, headache & postnasal drip annoyed throat 2 weeks ago. But I don’t think it was covid. No idea what the chills & shaking were from but the headache was from 8 hours of computer work & sinus issues. The post nasal drip was from allergies ( which is where the sinus issues were from ) no fever, no breathing issues this time.
I had all the symptoms last year with a bad sinus infection. Including fever, loss of taste & smell and difficulty breathing if I laid down, chills, shaking. It’s not really a good list or indicator of covid. That’s what makes this so difficult, every one of those symptoms have other explanations.
ETA: if your chills & shaking from chills are bad enough then your muscles ache from the shaking.

I wasn’t ever sick, but it went through my classroom and my co teacher had the same thing. We sent several kids home with shivering chills, really high fevers, and we had a few kids just flat out fall asleep in the middle of Pre-k classroom nonsense, which is pretty darn hard to do! My co teacher missed over a week of work she was so sick. I know we will never know, but I do think it was going around earlier. I also think that a lot more people had or have it and will never be tested for various reasons.

The next day I went to work (to deliver an all-day PD), and got sent home. I felt AWFUL. Fever, sore throat, headache, and extreme fatigue. I was out of work that Thursday and Friday, and pretty much just slept for three days, and it took several days to have any energy. I had some congestion, but no real cough... I will never know if I had a cold, flu, or what, but I will definitely wonder.

I was so sick in mid December. My doctor diagnosed bronchitis on the cusp of being pneumonia and the flu, even though the test was negative. I had: Shortness of breath 101-102 temperature Dizziness Cough that last over 3 weeks Absolutely awful body aches Headache Yellow drainage Sore throat Chills No energy at all I am pretty much convinced that I had covid19

We are curious too - I had pneumonia in January - sickest I've ever been. However - no one else came down with it? Could it be covid - it's supposed to be sooo contagious?

My symptoms started Friday night. One minute I was feeling fine and the next I was shaking uncontrollably. I was so cold. My boyfriend had me wrapped up in three blankets trying to warm me up. He said I was shaking for over an hour before it finally stopped.
I also had a headache that is still present right now. It's worse when I lay down. Rolling over or changing positions is excruciating. It doesn't hurt so much when I'm sitting or standing.
I woke up Saturday morning with a rash. My arms, hands, and torso are covered. I googled and found that rashes are a new symptom that doctors are seeing.
I'm an essential employee (grocery store) so I have been working these past weeks. I was tested for coronavirus this morning. I will get my results in a few days.

I am convinced I had it in Feb. I had a sore throat for a few days, exhausted like I had never been, a slight fever. I developed a cough so bad I couldn’t sleep. I went into the dr. They tested me for strep and the flu and it came back negative. I’m convinced it was covid.

Once there is wide-spread immunity testing, won't you know then that you probably had it when you suspect you did? We're convinced dd1 and her girlfriend have both recovered. We thought that perhaps that dgf got it on a work trip to Washington and Oregon, but I just found out that she spent a day working closely with someone who had a professor that was diagnosed with COVID, and that girl (co-worker) was coughing throughout the day. Dd and her gf were pretty sick for a long time, but not seriously ill. Dd couldn't get tested because she didn't meet the requirements.

Just once I'd like to see the symptoms of a illness be: Lose weight, extra energy, eat what ever you want and stay thin ! LOL I have some of them! I've had an awful headache for months now, and along with it comes nausea. I've been steadily losing weight. I'm just not hungry. I force myself to have protein shakes to stabilize. But, when you're not really eating, you don't feel energetic. Can't have everything I guess.............

I brought this up with my PCP when she wanted me to be tested for COVID19. I pointed out that DH and DS would be sick too. She said that she has treated cases in my town where one person in the family got sick and others did not.

Some people are asymptomatic or don’t have as severe cases. You also don’t know that no one you come in contact with didn’t get it.

The father of a former colleague passed away last week. Her mom was his caretaker the first week. He fought two additional weeks in the hospital. So far her mom is not showing signs. Idk if she’s been tested.

And I had a fever too. DH had a dry cough for about 3 weeks in March (no fever). I think we definitely had at least a form of CoVid.

Yes it is BUT it also seems to have a significant portion of symptomless infected people. So you can’t know if they ‘had it’ without a test
