I have a friend in Chicago who posted a pik of her ICY roof on Facebook .... A few days ago, a friend in Virginia said they MIGHT get snow...wow! I grew up near DC, and I remember just needing a sweater most Halloweens---which made us MAD, because it covered up our costumes I'm glad it'll be pretty cold here tonight, because IF we get trick-or-treaters, our doggies go crazy with excitement, and if it's nice and cold, they won't be at risk for overheating!!!!! (any of you who have/ had breeds that overheat easily from excitement and/or exercise can relate!)

Yeah, it's been pretty messed up in the Chicago area today. Watching the news now, they just said waves off Lake Michigan are up to 21 feet, it's only 37 degrees right now, and so far 300 flights cancelled at O'Hare. It seems to be worse in northern suburbs, but read SW Indiana could get up to 3" of lake effect snow.
This is messed up.

We just have our 14 year old dd at home and she probably won't TOT this year. But, we still stay home to give out candy. DH loves to decorate the yard. We have freaky animated monsters, tombstones, scary music, lightening, fog machine, etc. He adds something new each year. We don't get a ton of kids...maybe 50, but we make it worth their while to come here!
