Yes! They are awesome. I’d been wearing a paper one, and my glasses always fogged up. Grammas masks do not fog my glasses!

Thanks for being one of the helpers!! I've been doing a lot of sewing of masks. Wondering which pattern you made gramma . I did the flat, 3 pleat, filter pocket, elastic ear loop kind. Again, gramma, I think you rock! I'm doing flat 3 pleat, 3 layers (2 make a pocket for filter in the center back of the mask) with fabric ties across top and bottom. My friend, another quilter, nicknamed this pattern the "feed sack" as I start with 7x10.5" rectangles. I love it for great fit and coverage. And I love that it fits over N95 masks. Many of us here in wildfire country have masks from wildfire smoke incidents in recent times.... so the fabric masks extend their useful lifetimes too. I'm sorry I wasn't able to offer masks to any of our peas. I was busy sewing for local organizations and then when those requests were fulfilled, I've made 60 masks so far for friends/neighbors/family and my husband's colleagues and their families.

I’m doing mine very similar. 3 layer, pleated, but with elastic. I’ve made over 200 so far. I’m adding a wire at the top and a tuck at the chin. Mine start out 9” x 7 1/2”. I’m going to make one tomorrow that’s 10 1/2” to see the difference.

I started using half of a 12" pipe cleaner and am now folding it in half and twisting the two sides around each other, and sewing into the seam binding across top of mask.

I asked gramma for 2 masks (for me & DD). We've been wearing the same paper masks for 2 months now. We're trying to be safe for DH, who has such low immune fighting abilities. We should be getting the masks soon and I am so grateful for gramma for her generous and kind spirit. Xoo
