I finished my April pocket page spread and after I get January done I will be caught up for the year. I have never done any type of daily life memory keeping and I’m really enjoying this project. The PictureMate printer makes it so easy. I don’t think I would do it without it.

I've had some tough family stuff going on the last few weeks, so have been feeling VERY stressed / sad on top of 'normal' pandemic stress. And my 4-day hotel crop was supposed to have been a couple weeks ago... dang it. I've been feeling 'stuck' inside the house, and it's been really getting to me. And I can not be creative when I'm stressed / depressed. So I missed out on NSD stuff and wasn't doing anything crafty at all, but I've been watching @coliebing and Heather Balzer videos (starting from the beginning!) so I can at least feel 'connected' to scrapping.
And watching the videos has done the trick- I've actually been (sort-of) scrapping the past few days! I don't have photos for the pages yet, but I've been using SG sketches and pre-making a few layouts to have ready for when I do get photos printed. I even have ideas and embellishment ideas for a couple of them, which is REALLY unusual for me. So thanks to @coliebing, and to everyone who makes scrapbook process videos- you have no idea how inspirational they are for your viewers!! It's like scrapping with a friend, even if I'm not actually doing any scrapping at the time, lol.
ETA: and I had a really inspired idea yesterday, when I was flipping thru my 3x4 and 4x6 cards... one of them had the days of the week on it, and I'm going to use it on a pandemic / quarantine layout. I'm going to use large letter stickers, cross out the days of the week on the card, and add in my own stickers across the entire card to say "Blursday" because that's what I've felt like the past few weeks.

Great idea for your Blursday PL card, crimsoncat05! And wonderful that you are feeling the energy to scrapbook. I too find that my creative energy evaporates during times of worry and other negativity. This morning, I checked out some of the iNSD sites I had missed over the weekend. Turns out that the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine iNSD challenges are open until next Tuesday (the 13th). So this morning I printed off and used a Becky Fleck sketch for a two pager. Just grabbed a photo of it and will be submitting it to the magazine. Won't share on 2Peas until after they have chosen the ones they will be featuring on their site. If my page is chosen (doubtful) then I can share a link to their site when they highlight it. If it isn't, I will be sharing on our challenge thread. wish me luck!

I decided to pull out everything from my scrap closet yesterday after I asked my husband if he'd help me build some new shelves. He said he would and in three hours I bought the wood, drew the plans, built them, and we had them installed. Before everything was jammed in there. Now the slim shelves allow me to pull things out even from the back sides.

Family stuff is the worst. I know we all deal with so differently. Hugs and I hope things are better for you. I have missed several crops. Those weekends I didn't even go in my scrap room. Last Sunday, I met two friends and we got together at a kitchen table and used a friend's Portal to scrap with a couple of other friends virtually. I had no idea how clear (and awesome) using Portal was. It was like watching tv and not a Zoom meeting. I have been watching the same people as you. Heather even did a 2 minute video on an idea I used for storing my dies on my table when I am working on a particular card or layout.

Congrats on getting that project completed so quickly, 950nancy ! Hope you enjoy your new shelves. I would be terrified to involve my dh in a project that would disrupt my scrapping area. No way would it be done in one day! Glad your heritage pages are going so well, dald222. Still working on the Hawaii album here. A couple of pages a day. They sent me such beautiful photos that the pages kind of put themselves together, especially since I had put together a fairly massive kit (actually 2/3 of a rolly tote full) when I still thought I would be at a 3 day crop on iNSD weekend. And then, for one of kitbop 's challenges, I pulled out just those supplies I thought I could use for our own stay-at-home iNSD weekend here.

yesterday's inspiration for me involved starting layouts using 4x6 and 3x4 cards as my inspiration... yeah, I know I'm behind the times, lol. It's just that I typically start a layout by choosing the papers, and then I never get to a point where I can find any 4x6 or 3x4 cards that match the papers I've pulled. So the box of cards just sits there, unloved and unused. (oh, I'm good at sorting and organizing things, lol- just not USING them, lol.)
So, the layouts I have started right now will all be using SG Sketch Fusion sketches, which were designed for Simple Stories cards and papers. I don't use Simple Stories papers, but am substituting patterned papers and other products for those items. It's like a big 'duh!!' light-bulb went off in my head: "hey, silly- you don't have a 2x12 Simple Stories title block, but you sure as heck DO have plenty of patterned paper; you can cut your own strip and add it into the layout in the same spot."
(I just can't *think thru* putting a layout together completely from scratch any longer... a blank page paralyzes me, lol. And trying to do that isn't FUN for me. So I scraplift, use sketches, templates, etc. Whatever gets me into my scrapping mojo zone faster, I say!)
Anyway- I've come across a couple stumbling blocks--
1) I'm using a Tonic 12-inch guillotine cutter, a Tonic guillotine photo-size trimmer, and I also have the new CM cutter. I've found that blocks / strips cut with one of those cutters do NOT match exactly the dimensions of pieces cut with the OTHER cutter. Anyone else have a discrepancy in measurements between cutters? I like cutting large pieces with my guillotine cutter; I don't want to give it up. Or maybe I'm just not using one of them correctly.
2) my 12-inch guillotine cutter is squeaky as HELL; I need to figure out where to oil it.
3) my Selphy printer hasn't been used in probably a year; it thinks there's no ink even though there IS, so I need to take it apart and see if the gear inside is stuck or broken. I've seen the videos on YouTube, I'm just skeered to do it, lol!!

Yesterday I picked up a Sb kit and it has chicken wire—yes, WIRE—in it along with some gorgeous floral pp. what will I do with it? Funny story. I lived in an apartment that was converted from being a chicken coop. It basically, was one very long building divided into three apartments. I really should scrap some photos. It's been over 10 years! I still miss that kitchen. It was ugly, but had the BEST storage. Lesson learned. Pre plan a little. Ha! I go through phases with my photos where I plan meticulously, or do very little. This time I ordered a bunch of wallet sized photos and probably only 1, 4x6. I figure they will fit any configuration of my divided sheet protectors.
I've had some tough family stuff going on the last few weeks, so have been feeling VERY stressed / sad on top of 'normal' pandemic stress. And my 4-day hotel crop was supposed to have been a couple weeks ago... dang it. I'm sorry! I am the same way. I've been trying to do things like trim photos and cut paper.

refugeepea I ordered from 365scrapbooking on Etsy. It was the first time, but the prices were good, I got free shipping at spending $35, it shipped fast (ordered the 3rd, got it today), and it was packed well. No bent paper corners or anything.

Mine is green Plastic. Too bulky to be put in a scrapbook. Printing it out was a good idea

i actually feel like crying right no Hope you are doing okay now. (((((Big Hugs))))). Sounds like you have been pretty busy this month. How do we find your pages on Scrapbook.com? I think it might be easy to share those pages here directly from there. joblackford or Linda may be able to help. Sorry you were unable to easily share your creations directly here.
