Last night I sat down to scrap.....and ended up revamping my entire page kit organization isn't it crazy how this can happen? start out with the intention of doing one thing, and next thing you know, you're reorganizing your entire space, lol! kind of how replacing the faucet in the bathroom ends up being 6 trips to Home Depot and a major bathroom remodel, lol. I am more likely to start cleaning/organizing and end up scrapping with the treasures I discover in my stash than the other way around ! Glad you are back in the scraproom again, crystalb. Hoping your new system works for you.

Today was magical. I went to my LSS. They have been doing only curbside orders since mid March. Today, by appointment only, you could go in and shop. She had 2 hours slots for 6 people each time. I took my time, but was in and out in an hour. You had to wear a mask and gloves. The door was locked as each person went in and out. There was a list of expectations that was mailed to you once you confirmed your time slot. Hopefully we'll be able to drop the glove expectations soon. That part was weird.

This morning I went for a 30 minute drive to a bricks & mortar LSS that I've not previously been to (there are only 3 stores left where I live). Walking in my first impressions were "YES! So much product!". The space was pretty big and nearly half the store was filled with paper racks. But.... it was all old. I mean really old. Some stuff up to 13 years old. I admit I was a bit disappointed. I just want a well stocked store that I can go and shop at. I'd be happy to pay full price for products if I was able to see them in person before purchasing. The business that I visited today is actually for sale. If I had money to burn...
I thought of all you lovely peas though because what they did have was lots and lots and lots of October Afternoon, Basic Grey and Sassafras Lass.

Three day weekend!!😁
I have Easter photos on my desk, just waiting to be scrapped.
And distance learning pics.
I have high hopes of being able to scrap this weekend.

With all activities being shut down, I haven't had many new photos to scrap. I have a small Shutterfly order coming today that I am really excited about.
I pulled out my high school scrapbook. I am pulling it apart to create a better one, including photos where I have them. OMG, if you want things to be held tight, use good old Elmer's glue. It's a project to get this book apart.

I've been dragging my feet about finishing up a double page softball layout because the memories make me a little sad. Probably no ball for my dd this year so its bittersweet to do those pages and I don't want the journalling to reflect that. But once I get that done I plan on working on my witl album. I have all the supplies ready to go, plus extra photo paper/ink. I even figured out how to print digital journalling cards without wasting paper (thank you peas!) because being honest, AEs with kit was skimpy!

Yesterday, I got to visit a LSS! Had to book an appointment, and was allowed to shop all by myself! I was given half an hour, but took only about 15 minutes. I was picking up some pre orders and a couple of kits, but I did manage to come home with some extra goodies in my shopping bag. Also managed to get some photos printed!
joined into a Pea Hangout session and spent a couple of hours crafting together. That was cool. Finished my May calendar page today (using some of my new stuff), a couple more pages for the Hawaii album, and a two-pager with some photos I took of my dgs here in the yard last week.

Well, didn't scrap much. Those Easter layouts are still sitting, unfinished.
Last Thursday I ordered National Geographic dinosaur fossil dig kits for my youngest kids. They were delivered Saturday, so it gave them a little something to do that morning, plus they researched and watched videos about fossils that afternoon.
And of course I took photos.
Last night it dawned on me that I just bought a sheet of dinosaur paper during my last order (that i bought because it was cute, not because i had plans for it). Well, now I know what I'll use it for!

I used up some scraps one of my favorite ways, find colors that work and make strip backgrounds. I didn't make all the foreground sentiments yet, but that will come next weekend.

After working 8 days in row, ending in 4 12's, I finally have 2 days off, possibly 3! I began tonight to print the photos to my pandemic album, and man, I should have wrote stuff down! Gonna pick up a small notebook tomorrow when I go do groceries for my own family. I'm excited to finally get started and want to be current so I can work on it as things are happening.

Good morning. I was able to scrap this weekend after spending the week purging and reorganizing a bit. I gathered all four carts from various places in the house that my kids were using as catch alls/or were almost empty and brought them into my area. Two now hold all my stamps and most of my stickers/chipboard, one mixed media and one empty. Since I did that I have stamped on every page I have made and pull more die cuts! SCORE! I love that I can pull them to me and push them away. Pretty excited.
I was able to get EIGHT pages done this weekend of various things! I am so excited, that ist he most I have scrapped this entire SIP/quarantine. Last night I put together a little kit to play along in a FB group I belong too and completed one page with that early this morning when I couldn't sleep. Anyone else having sleep inconsistency/issues?
What did you get accomplished this weekend?

crystalb Yes, I am having major sleep issues, too. It's 6:15 here, for heaven's sake! UGH. At least I'll get to the grocery store early. I have been going through all the boxes of "stuff" to add to scrapbooks. I've purged a ton of junk, including 4 old photo albums.
