My boys and DH and going to redo our master bedroom for Mother’s Day. It’s literally a completely blank slate. I think I want to start with bedding and then pick out paint colors, so I’m starting my search. Anyone have any bedding you’ve seen lately they you love? Any suggestions on favorite online stores that has relative good quality bedding? The last set we bought was from Bed Bath and Beyond and has lasted forever.

Definitely start with either artwork or bedding you love. Its much easier to match paint to something you already have found than try to get bedding and artwork to match paint that you have already got.

I’d look at Kohl’s or JC Penney. You could order online and if you didn’t like them they can be returned pretty easily.
I bought new quilted bedspreads for every bed at our lake cabin last summer at Kohl’s and happened to catch some amazing deals because they had a ton of stuff on clearance at the time. It’s all been really nice quality. I bought two different sets for our king sized bed, two queen sets for our guest room (and then had to scramble to find a matching king set when DH bought a king sized bed for that room), two more queen sets for DD’s bedroom (there are twin beds in there now, but at some point she will want a bigger bed so I just went with queens instead). Some of them were The Big Ones and some were Croft & Barrow. All have been washed and they’ve held up really well so far.
I totally agree with buying the bedding first and then pick paint that coordinates. We did it the other way around because DH was pushing me to pick a color quickly, and then the teal color I picked was a real PITA to find curtains and stuff to match. Word to the wise, teals and purples are impossible colors to match. Ask me how I know, ugh.

I still love my Pottery Barn McKenna duvet cover & shams. I just pick up solid color (navy) sheet sets at HomeGoods or similar stores, along with a few decor pillows that pull out the other colors in the duvet cover.

I just redid our master bedroom completely from scratch too - I bought linen bedding from West Elm and I absolutely love it. I think a linen duvet cover is a must now lol. I used the design service Havenly.com and this is what we came up with: I bought the bedding they recommended from West Elm in a soft stone color. Personally I like bedding in solid neutrals layerrd in different soft colors. This was another concept we came up with that I liked: Attachments:

Pottery barn! Recently redid our bedroom, working around an expensive area rug. I did a red and cream quilt, with accessories. Love the quality. Also bought sheets from them. I little pricey but nice.
Our dd redid her kids rooms and we purchased the bedding and linens for them from Pottery barn, which is how I saw the catalog, and picked my new set.

I agree about Pottery Barn. Over the past 15 years the majority of my duvets, shams, and quilts have come from there. As far as sheets, I am a creature of habit and really like the Hotel Collection at Macy’s.

We have a Chaps comforter set from Kohl's, along with the matching curtains.
I've been impressed with the quality. Has a lot of deep red in it that hasn't faded. Fabric is thicker than sets I have from Macy's in other rooms.
