I have a bunch of really little stamps that I got a long time ago, the acetate is long gone and I am not sure how to store them. CD case? Baggie? Another kind of envelope? What do you do with these?
Edited to add, these are clear stamps, leaves, flowers, animals, cupcakes, ect....all measuring about a 1/4 inch to 1 inch each. I have about 150.

The only teeny tiny ones I have are an alphabet from CTMH and they are in the envelope pouch they came in. I would think a CD case would be a good alternative for them

I put them on sheets of acetate cut down to about 5x7, and then put them on cello bags. I store them by theme - flowers, leaves, sentiments, etc. When I can be bothered, I also stamp the images on a sheet of 5x7 card and put that in the cello bag too.

CD cases would probably work well if you have some and a good place to store them. I would decide based on whether it was easier/cheaper to find acetate sheets or CD cases. I don't think there's a wrong answer - anything is better than nothing

Stamps can get stuck to CD cases. Ask me how I know...
Think about how you store your other clear stamps to find a solution that works well with it.

Well, that is going on the Christmas/Birthday/Yay for me wishlist! thank you! I don't know how well that would work for these, they are so little and they don't stick well, so they would most likely fall to the bottom of the bag, unless the insert itself was sticky.

If they aren’t sticking well, wash them with a little dish soap in water, being careful not to let them go down the drain. Once they are dry, they should be stickier again.
I keep mine on acetate in pockets in a zippered binder.

My solution is sandwich bags with cardstock cut to size to make it more stable. Some sets are too long, but I don't mind them poking out. I can make sure the ones that don't stick are at the bottom.

being careful not to let them go down the drain. Do it over a strainer! Ask me how I know!

I keep mine on acetate in pockets in a zippered binder. Be certain to employ the sink drain stopper before gently washing the clear stamps in soapy water & letting them air dry. In theory, my few tiny clear stamps are stored with their respective sets. In practice, they can be found stuck to acetate, plastic, glass, metal, fabric, wood, or whatever material was on or near my work surface the last time the sets were on it. Even if I don't use the tiny stamps, they escape! It's a surprise every time one is spotted joyriding on other supplies, tools, storage containers, water bottles, clothing, furniture, etc.

Avoid CD cases unless you're putting appropriate plastic protectors on both sides, which pretty much defeats the main advantage of the CD case, which was that stamps stick to them. Unfortunately stamps stick TOO well to them over time, and can literally fuse to the CD case's plastic. I would not recommend using them because of this danger.
All my stamps go into in pockets, or baggies if they're so tiny they won't stick to a laminated piece of cardstock in a pocket.

I transitioned stamps from cd cases to the Avery Elle storage pouches a couple years ago. I used badge holders to mount stamps on. I happened to have some from concerts/tickets, etc, like the large kind you wear with a lanyard, about 5"x7". They are sturdy and slide in the pockets well. I've read all the concerns about certain plastics and stamps withering over time due to that, and I'm not concerned. I have put scrap paper in the pouches too to make sliding the stamps out easier, so they don't stick to the interior of the pouch.
I ended up purchasing a box of the badge holders from amazon.

I have mine in s binder with baseball card holders, kinda organized by type. Thanks all! Due to scrap booking budget dwindling....(see Shimelle post lol and also October Afternoon stock up) I decided to go with mjmone and use what I had for free. DS collects cards and has some of those baseball pocket pages, he kept pokemon cards in them. So I found a binder, and grabbed a few sheets of those pages and went to work. For the most part it works great-if these were stamps that I was using every time I turned around or had invested a ton of $$ into, I might have been more inclined to spend some money, but this solution was very very good and the price was right. I just used some cheap cardstock to stamp the images on the front and then another cardstock for backing, kind of making a "sandwich" and just slid them into the pockets.

I cut down the thick sheets of Stick n Store to 5 x 7 and put in Avery Elle envelopes.

Run your bits of trading card sized cardstock through a laminator and you'll get a nice stamp-friendly mountable surface. You can also leave a gap at the bottom and then the "cover" with your stamped image in the same laminating sheet and cut them out together, making a joined sandwich or booklet for holding small stamps.
