In our area, stores will be opening on Friday. I hope to venture into a store in the next week or so. Just curious if Joann’s has any of the designer American crafts collections?

You may be able to see your local store's inventory by visiting the Joann website and viewing the collections you're interested in.

I went last week. They were allowing 17 at a time inside the store and people had to wait in a line outside, 6 feet apart. You had unlimited time inside the store.
They did have the designer AC Collections. It was on sale last week, not sure if it still is.

My Joanns had new AC collections before the shut down. Amy Tan, Shimelle and someone else but can't recall.

I was there last week for about 10 minutes. There was a good line outside for fabric, but they let others in (who weren't buying fabric) faster. My JoAnn's sells the AC designers but the store in the city south of me doesn't not. It is hit and miss. I'd call and ask. Mine has been selling it for about 2 years.

Our local Joann store is relatively large, but not an AC designer destination. It primarily stocks its in-house/Park Lane brand products. While I've never encountered another shopper in the papercrafting area, the fabric side was packed the couple times I've shopped there over the years. Happy shopping, & be safe!

Stores with the Designer Destinations sections, are they selling the paper by the sheet like last year? Which lines?
Paper by the sheet isn't available online, so I'm curious as to what's actually on the shelves.
Mine shut it's doors right after getting the project Pads and embellishments, and I never saw any new individual sheets.

Ours is still closed, but I’m curious to know which AC Designer lines they’re carrying right now?

Our little Joanns never closed. Hobby Lobby did, but Joanns was deemed essential because people needed to get stuff to make masks. I had to go and get sewing machine needles and had to wait in a line. Only 11 people in the store at a time. I did run through our little scrapbook section - it sucks and it makes me sad sometime - LOL. I love going to a big Joanns and seeing all the AC paper single sheets! Maybe this summer... fall... 2021

Thank you!
I'm very excited. My state opens up toward the end of this month, so I'll be watching the sales. I'm going to be buying a whole heck of a lot of paper by the sheet, so I want to get a good price.

My store has them out and the last Designer Destination stuff wasn't stocked until it was already on clearance (my store's pretty bad with anything scrapbook related, usually). They opened on Saturday but their phone lines didn't update to say they were open until Monday. I had placed a large online order (that's so far had 5 items ship in 3 different shipments with like 10 or more items still left to ship) that I would have gotten in store if I had known they were open the day I ordered online. My store has everything out except for a few things...most of which I assume has sold out rather than not been stocked since embellishments sell fast, but there are still a few gaps (maybe 3 or so) of single sheet paper in the 3 collections I did my shopping in (Amy Tangerine, Paige Evans and Shimelle). I just spent about $25 on 60 sheets of paper today since loose paper is half off (the cashier manually added an extra 20% off for me)...it's about double what I'm usually willing to pay for that paper (I typically wait for 10/$2), but I really wanted to get my hands on some of it and I've really been hankering for some retail therapy. I will definitely be buying more (and checking out what sheets I missed that isn't stocked, yet) if one of those paper sales comes up.

Of all the paper I bought, this is probably my favorite sheet: www.scrapbook.com/store/ac-355360.htmlTalk about fussy cutting heaven...not that I enjoy it, but it's a lot of die cuts for so little money. I don't always love AT collections, but her cameras are some of my favorite icons from anything under the AC umbrella.

I just called my Joann’s. I placed an order on the 16th for pickup and, after the email telling me that they’re experiencing delays, it still shows as processing. The person I spoke to said that they’re currently working on orders from May 6!! I wonder if there’s hope that my paperpads will actually be in stock when they get to my order.

I wonder if there’s hope that my paperpads will actually be in stock when they get to my order. So this happened to me, I got part of my order cancelled. So after I picked it up, I went into the store for a bit and low and behold, what was "out of stock" and cancelled from my order was now hanging on the shelf hook! So I am not sure if you are planning to go in to pick it up, but if they show something that wasn't in stock when they "picked" your order, they may have gotten it in, and they sure don't go back and fix your stuff.

So I am not sure if you are planning to go in to pick it up, but if they show something that wasn't in stock when they "picked" your order, they may have gotten it in, and they sure don't go back and fix your stuff. 1. With pickup I am almost always concerned that it will be sold out, when I could have had it shipped from the warehouse instead. 2. Another concern is that the shopper scans the area quickly, says "out of stock" and moves on without really trying. Or maybe they don't even bother going to the area because they have a dozen other orders to shop. 3. There have been times, something I wanted was the was the last one, and it had some sort of imperfection. Like a scratch, or crooked label holder, or something that would just bother me, so I do not buy it. I don't want them to pick *that* item for me, and then me having to deal with a return. Nope, I'll just take my chances with having my items shipped. Never really had a problem. Only once did I have an item sold out when it was showing as available.
