They are gorgeous! What a beautiful post to brighten my day! TFS! Enjoy those pretty babies! Have you named them? Are the males? Females? One of each? Is this your first kitten experience?

ooohhh!! the cuteness! I am a firm believer that kittens should be adopted in twos... they keep each other company, and will give you twice the laughs! and twice the kisses and love...

First off, yay for adopting from a shelter! Second, congratulations!! Third, two kittens will likely be less work because they will play together and be each other’s best buds. There is nothing sweeter then two kitties tumbling around with each other then cuddling up and grooming each other when they are all tuckered out! They are just adorable!!! PS I love seeing all the kitten accoutrements around, clearly they aren’t going to be spoiled at all!

Both males. Percy and Poe. Both have a bit of grey fur mixed in with the black but on Percy it is concentrated more on his lower back. Poe has longer hair in general and looks fluffier. They are about 6-7 weeks old. Not our first kitten experience but it has been a long while! I adopted a kitten in 1994 right after graduating from college and DH and I adopted another right after we got married a couple years later. They got along ok but definitely not like these two being littermates. Tyler passed away in 2010 and Tabitha in 2012. So we had a long pet free break. But facing an empty nest this fall (maybe) so it'll be nice to have some furry friends to keep us company.

Oh, so sweet! You'll be glad you got 2. We adopted a set of 3, and then later a set of 2. They look so soft.

Lots of playing and play fighting and napping together. And LOL about being spoiled. We did a PetCo instacart delivery immediately and have a few things - including a multi-level cat tree - ordered from Amazon as well! DH spent a lot of time researching to pick out one he thought they would like. They've been here slightly over 24 hours!

Awww, yes you have signed up for double trouble, but I really think pets need company for when humans are gone. The second picture of the fluffier kitten, Poe, yup, that one s going to be trouble.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! They are the cutest! How lucky they are to be together and adopted into such a nice human family. The first kitten my dh and I adopted after we got married was a tiny black kitten. She was appropriately named Curiosity and she lived to be 19. Black kitties rock!

In my opinion, you just hit the jackpot! Sibling kittens and both black! I’ve shared my life with cats since I was a small child. And all have won my heart. But my black cat seems to have more personality and more willingness to interact with me than any of the others. I’ve heard this from other people - there is something special about a black cat.
I wish you many years of love and companionship from these guys!

My 2 kitties keep me company. When you have that empty nest your kitties will be there to let you wait on them hand and foot. They'll entertain eachother and sleep together and bring joy to your home. Thank you for rescuing those adorable pussycats.

sooooo cute! Thanks for sharing. I have 2 grown cats. One was a kitten foster that we adopted. . . every year we foster two or three sets of kittens. I get my "kitten" fix this way.
Enjoy those babies!

New kittens are so much fun! We have 2 sister cats (Parker and Posey) that are 10 years old now. The day we adopted them we had tickets that night to see Mumford and Sons. We didn't go to the show because I couldn't bear to leave them that first night. Oh how I miss those super soft kitten snuggles. Enjoy!!

I'm partial to black kitties. They seem to be mushy, playful and just so loving. Our baby, Felix, was found near a tire of a car with his brother, Oscar, and they were only about 7 weeks old. I took Felix and my niece took Oscar. Felix was the love of our lives!!! I've never had a more special and human- like kitten in my life. Thank you so much for taking these kittens together!! They're beautiful. I hope that you have a lifetime of fun and love with them!!!!
We just adopted yet again in January, and got another black kitty, Levon. We call him the chemo kitty. He'S so in tune with DHs every move!!! Precious!!!!
Enjoy them and keep posting pics!!

You will not regret getting two. We went to get one and ended up with brother and sister. Let me tell you, our little boy would have been the death of me if he didn’t have his sister for entertainment. I am certain that the curtain climbing would have been 10 times worse without her. They comforted each other as kittens. Growing up, they learned from each other. They were the best of friends.
