A lot of handmade businesses are posting in FB groups right now that have their prime shipped items stored there. This is pretty devastating to them. I'm sure Amazon will make it right somehow and eventually, but a lot of them store a huge quantity of their inventory there. Now they have nothing. It's not all big business and Amazon inventory only that is stored in these warehouses.

I heard about that early this morning and really feel for those who won't be getting their packages. “Things” can be reordered but there are probably un replaceable packages that will never arrive at their destination.

I used to work for a small manufacturing company that would ship product to Amazon distribution centers like this. While we had our own website that we sold from we made at least 80% of our sales from Amazon. Depending on the amount of product stored at the center this could have likely been devastating and shut the business down. The company I worked for is no longer in business, but I worry about the other small business who ship out of that warehouse. People hear amazon and think it’s just Jeff Bezos, but so many small businesses ship with them to reach a larger customer base.

It's not an Amazon warehourse or distro center. It is a 3rd party that does distro for warehouse. This is about 10 minutes from my house. Everyone got out. It is not related to the demonstrations.

Thanks for the update! I read another article that stated this building helps Amazon with larger items.

I heard it was a huge building that was a block long. Wondering like others why sprinklers did go off? Report I saw said it was completely gone in three hours again no sprinklers? I feel bad for those that have lost their income from this snd hope they had insurance
