I got a text from my county that they were doing testing close to my house and no line so I went. Of course everyone else got the same message and by the time I got there the line was long. But I waited anyway.
Not the most pleasant experience. It felt like when you used to jump in a pool and get Chlorine up your nose. Only it lasts way longer!
Results in 24-48 hours.
We shall see!

I had the antibody test when I donated blood - should hear in a week or so.

Me. Our town did a town wide testing to see what our infection rate is. I didn’t find it that awful.

DD has one on Saturday. She had to swab herself though. She said she thinks it would have been quicker, and therefore less uncomfortable, if a professional had swabbed. LOL

My son had to get one as a precaution because he had an MRI scheduled. It took three people to hold him down. Test came back negative.

In April. It was negative and not the ordeal people are making it out to be. Tomorrow I’m getting an antibody test.

I was tested a couple of weeks ago. I had both an antibody and virus test. I am positive for antibodies and negative for the virus which is what I expected. They gave me the option of doing my own virus test...um, no thank you. I thought the doctor was just explaining what he was going to do but he was actually doing it and it was over in a second. It's actually worse for me to see someone getting the test than actually having it done.

I had one done. I had to swab myself. Definitely unpleasant but not a huge deal. My results came back negative.
My boyfriend got tested at the same time. They lost his results.

I have had 2. I had cataract surgery the end of May, beginning of June. The tests were required before each surgery. I was negative twice. Both test were just a swab around each nostril, nothing traumatic.

It wasn't a big deal. I was prepared for this horrible experience and while it was weird it wasn't a big deal. After the test I felt like someone was poking me in the ear from the inside for about an hour. That also didn't hurt, but it was weird.

Yes and I didn't find it too unpleasant, although I did gag a bit. Negative.

I’ve considered it only to get my sinuses to drain. j/k...kinda. I have no reason to suspect I have the virus but I am curious about the antibodies. Does your gp check for that or do you have to go to a resting facility?

My husband just found out that one of his clients had Covid in between her training sessions with him. MyDH didn't feel well around that time period, but who know what he had. His dr. recommended that he get the antibodies test, so he'll do that tomorrow. His client who tested positive was in a bridge club in town. Forty of their members got Covid and 4 of them have since passed. They were the first ones in our county to pass from the disease. Thankfully our area has been in a bit of a bubble the last few weeks.
