You didn't ask but I prefer my PC over my phone. I use my phone for depositing checks, texting and playing Words with Friends but that's about it.

If I am doing anything where I have to do excessive typing, I use my laptop. I use my phone for quick things. I hate typing on the phone keyboard.

I am a fast typer and use my laptop for work, so I'm pretty much exclusively on my laptop, unless I'm out somewhere. I used my phone for texting and when I'm out walking to listen to my playlists.

I absolutely prefer my laptop over my phone! My phone is for calls, texts, listening to podcasts, and surfing the net when I'm out and about. My laptop is for everything else pretty much.

For certain things I prefer my iPad or laptop. I use my phone when out and about or for short times online but a lot of websites still work better on the MacBook.

I always prefer my laptop over my phone! I just my phone when I am out or in bed too, and that's it! I can't text, my thumbs are huge (my family didn't believe it until we compared, haha! I prefer to use speaker feature to text or just sent an email from my computer. I can't even figure out how to set up email on my phone, so I just get it on my computer. I am very old fashioned for my age!

I hate being on the internet on my phone. I have an iPad I use the most but I'm on my laptop right now. I have a smaller Mac, a 13" Macbook air so it's easy to carry around or use when not at a table.

I never use my phone when I'm home. I always use my MacBook. And before I bought my MacBook, I would always use my PC. I hate Peaing or Facebooking on my phone. It's too small, harder to type, and much harder to use the quote feature, and there just isn't the same functionality. When we moved offices into the city two years ago, I was Peaing a lot on my phone on the train. But then I started taking my MacBook to work with me most days, so I would use that on the train instead. Luckily my train station is three stops from the start of the line, so I pretty much always got a seat. If I had to stand I would obviously use my phone. Now I am WFH so I'm always Peaing on my MacBook. I have two girlfriends who live out of state. We used to email almost daily but now one started texting a year ago as it's easier for her for various reasons. And I just don't care for it. I hate texting, because it forces me to use my phone. My preferred method of communication is Facebook Messenger, so I can message on my MacBook when I'm home or at work, and still be able to message if I'm out and about and only have my phone. I will say that I haven't used email as a form of communication with friends for over 20 years!

I like my iPad. The phone is too small. I have progressive bifocals and often they are on the top of my head. I will read on the phone if I am out to eat ( the olden days).

I use my laptop the most, particularly anything that needs typing. Use my tablet to listen to audiobooks, ebooks, puzzles and check websites quickly.
My phone is mostly for calling, occasional texting and as last resort Internet activity. I keep wifi turned off to save battery and never have data turned on unless I need it. We use Tracfone so I don't want to waste my data. It's very cheap and suits my needs.

I definitely prefer my laptop to my phone. At 36, most of my peers don't have laptops most just use their smart phones so I definitely feel like an outlier. I just don't like the tiny screen on my phone and it's hard to multitask. The keyboard is tiny... there's just a lot of limitations I feel like. It's great for when I'm out and about but if I'm home I'm going to be using my laptop.

I love my laptop. I use it for everything except texting and FaceTime. And if it's a long text convo I just make a phone call. I only use my phone or iPad when I'm away from my laptop.
And I don't shop online.

Mostly ipad or laptop preferred. Phone is really just for when I am out, or a quick text here or there. I have 2 laptops and 2 phones - work & personal. Late 40's

I use a laptop for digi scrapping and for financial reasons. I use my iPad for everything including texting. I don’t even have my phone volume on and only give out the number if I have to....family, doctors, etc. I will use it to text when I’m out. I can’t stand talking on them either. I use my big home phone. I’m 69.

I find the laptop easier for most things and generally choose it over the phone while at home.
I used to always travel with it, but I have started taking just my phone on most but the longer trips.
Having an Etsy shop, there are shop tasks you can only do on a computer and aren't available by phone.
I agree with whoever said that Twitter and Instagram are better experienced on the phone though.

I prefer the laptop for anything involving typing more than a sentence or two. I write using touch typing and writing longer texts on a tablet or phone makes me break out in hives😂

I hate the phone so much for social media usage that I post my pictures using my camera and set the post to "me only" for viewing. Then I move to my laptop or computer with an actual keyboard and I edit my post to add wording and then set the privacy to 'friends only'.

I have an IPhone, Ipad and a desktop computer and use all three. Whatsapp on the phone for my DS in the UK, desktop computer for 2Peas, and games on the IPad. I hate typing on the phone as it tries to guess what word I'm typing. I'm 60+

iPhone: texting, phone calls, taking pictures, controlling thermostat and other things in the house or garage (like opening or closing the garage door), a few emails, some games, and for reading short news articles
iPad Pro: most browsing, texting, social media, emails, games, editing newsletters (with the pencil), some online shopping, reading all kinds of material, watching video, Zoom meetings
IMac desktop with 27” monitor: banking, most online shopping, emails, writing longer items, social media, some texting, anything where I want multiple screens open at once.
Sometimes I’m on two devices at once, depending on what I’m doing or how many types of communication I’m using at the moment

I would like a laptop but I don’t need one at this point in my life. I would use it a lot I am sure but I have an iPad and the phone and we have a desktop that I never use so my needs are being met with the phone and iPad. I don’t hate technology but I need someone to talk dumb to me and I will get it.
