I just started watching this. I really like it. I’m amazed at how inexpensive the houses are and they are adorable. So far the people are choosing the houses I’d love to see remodeled. It’s fun to watch.
Anyone else watch this?

Is this the one with the couple he's a big bearded guy? and she's a little short hair blonde? if it is, for some reason I don't like them. IDK what it is.

I love Erin and Ben. The houses they do are really cute. I like their style and aesthetic.

I've been watching since it came on and really have enjoyed it. DH grew up not too far from there so we enjoy seeing (and hearing) a bit of 'home' each week. I really admire what they are doing for Laurel. Wouldn't want to live there (too small and way too many relatives nearby!), but I think it's great that they are trying to revive the town. There are so many small towns across the US that could use this.

Love it. I have watched since the beginning. They seem genuine and the house they "fix" all look different. Not farmhouse like Chip and JoAnna. After Covid, I want to go visit Laurel. It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive for me.

I would rather watch Ben & Erin than Chip and Joanna. Ben is an amazing woodworker. I also like how they repurpose wood, cabinets and other items from the homes.

I would rather watch Ben & Erin than Chip and Joanna. Chip had to grow on me, and still I can only handle him in small doses. The show I just cannot tolerate the hosts of is Good Bones. No idea why, but they just annoy the heck out of me!

I think they’re both very talented, but they don’t do the cornball romance schtick as well as Chip and Joanna. The way Erin is always all googly eyed and tucked into that big ginger’s arm makes me roll my eyes hard. Plus, I think I’ve been in the south too long to be charmed by small town Mississippi. It feels dark to me.

She rubbed me the wrong way for a long time, but I am starting to enjoy their show. A lot of times I question the taste level/design strategy but they seem to know what they are doing IMO.

It's not my favorite but I watched one season on Hulu. I'll probably watch more if they do another season. There are some good ideas yet Erin annoys me a little. The houses are so cheap because of the location. Small southern town and older homes.

They're kinda meh. I've watched a couple episodes and I just can't get into it.
The new ones I do love are Dave and Jenny Marrs on Fixer to Fabulous. Love them!!

We love this show. They are adorable. I hope they always stay down to earth.
Chip and Joanna Gaines started off easy to watch but I stopped watching before their final year because Chip just got too annoying.

I grew up in Laurel so it really is my home town. It's fun getting to see places I know and streets we roamed when I was young. The way Erin is always all googly eyed and tucked into that big ginger’s arm makes me roll my eyes hard. It's not fake or put on. Just FYI.

I love them. Their style is exactly my style. I like color! I get so sick of white on white on white (Fixer Upper). I get so frustrated going to Pinterest for ideas and getting picture after picture of white farmhouse style. It’s a refreshing change. I think their relationship is genuine, and their little girl is adorable. I will admit, though, after binging a few episodes in a row, I get tired of his voice.

It's about a 4 1/2 hour drive for me. This is how I feel too. Chip and JoAnna are great, but it was the same house for so many episodes. I also like how they don't turn setbacks into such drama like Property Brothers.

I don’t think they’re faking being very connected and in love. I’m sure they are. I just think they present on screen as a little more saccharine than their HGTV counterparts. I probably shouldn’t have referred to Ben as a “big ginger”, as I know that made my critique of them sound more hostile than I intended.

I don’t mind them but I can’t stand Tarek & Christina. I especially didn’t like her when she didn’t stay with him during his cancer.
I really like the idea of the Bargain Mansion show that’s set in Kansas City but I don’t like her choices.
I do like the mother/daughter show set in Indianapolis.

Chip and Joanna Gaines started off easy to watch but I stopped watching before their final year because Chip just got too annoying. Yes! I really enjoyed Chip and Joanna at first, but he got so annoying and silly, it made me wonder how she could put up with him. I was slow to warm up to Ben and Erin, but having watched a lot of their shows during the pandemic (with nothing else to do), I have gotten used to them and really enjoy them. They just seem so sweet and genuine!

The design is usually exactly my style. Her voice bothers me though, and she has this kind of “oh, gosh, aren’t I the cutest thing ever?!?” thing going on. She is growing on my though.
