I now find when I watch a commercial the first thing I look for is to see if I can tell if it was made pre-pandemic or during.
It is weird and I am not sure why it matters, but it is what I seem to focus on. 🤷♀️
Is anyone else finding that a pandemic seems to be increasing/enhancing their weird little idiosyncrasies. 😳😏😄

I'm writing a novel, it's contemporary but if this virus doesn't knock it off I'm going to have to label it as historical... my characters go around living their lives without masks, eat out, go to the store without planning the most efficient way to get in and out in ten minutes... I sort of wish I was my characters right now My kids get really complainy when a commercial says "in these uncertain times," instead of using the words pandemic or virus. They also point out when someone isn't six feet apart or they break the rules and hug or something. Maybe we're watching too much TV...

I watch tv and have had a mini panic moment when I see people not social distancing, wearing masks etc.
And last night I had a dream where I went out in public without wearing a mask. And I was freaking out because germs and I was afraid people would get mad at me. FYI I always wear a mask in stores etc.

I find myself yelling at the tv when reporters don't social distance.

Might not be the kind of thing you're talking about, but, I did notice that I take more care in handwashing my masks than any other articles of laundry. I hand wash them in Dreft, so they smell great when I put them on.

When watching a show that shows people on Zoom, etc I focus on what is in their room rather than the person speaking.
I am also sick of the commercials that companies feel they need to run where they talk about what they've done during this time.

I'm still mesmerized by the scenery behind people broadcasting from home. Lately I've noticed the trend of people who've authored books to have at least one or two behind them, and some have piles and piles.

Trying to figure out when World of Dance was taped. I don't know if I've watched the very beginning of the season so I don't know what's normal.

I always enjoy watching the newscasters at home. One of them does her news from her guest room. Another one has a huge collection of vinyl albums and it's fun to see them change each day.
I'm yelling at the news now. Hard not to yell back when you're watching people doing or saying stupid stuff on tv. I'm losing my mind.

I saw them on a news program and started following. They have lots of suggestions for people and those who have received high scores are quite proud about it. Steve Schmidt has the most amazing house. I love when he is interviewed.

At the end of the news this evening they profiled a neighborhood who has had the same UPS driver forever (I didn't even know UPS drivers had regular routes), and they sprung a surprise for him... as he drove down the street they were all gathered around clapping, they gave him flowers, etc. And my first thought was "those people was MUCH too close together" and second was "no one is wearing a mask!"

I understand why they phrase it that way, but it makes unreasonably annoyed.
