We have about 18 disposable cameras that we need to get developed. They are about 5-10 yrs. old! We tried Walgreens and they would cost $14.99 per camera. They were pictures my kids took at the beach when they were little. Most pictures probably won't turn out as the kids were young. So we are looking for less expensive options. Does anyone know of any place that does it for less?

Maybe check if there is a local camera shop that could make a recommendation? I think most places send them out which increases the cost. If you have a Costco membership check there. I know they will send it out but not sure how much it would cost.

I would say Costco or CVS, but since it is now the outdated way of printing pictures it is not going to be the cheapest. Think of it as entertainment and what might be on those pictures.

Maybe do like 2-3 a month, and work your way down. Being it's been so long already, might as well take your time now.

I read Costco no longer develops film.
Try Bay Photo Labs or The Darkroom. Both Still develop film and I’ve read good reviews. Bay Photo is about $11-12 ea. Also, I think some Walmarts may still send film out to an outside lab (maybe a place like Bay Photo) and that might be your cheapest option, although the film kiosks are no longer manned and Walmart doesn’t return negatives, but you may not care about negatives. CVS may also still send out film for developing. They usually charge per print. You’d have to call your local place.
Several years ago we found some old rolls of film taken by my mom on her old brownie camera in the 60s. At the time she couldn’t afford to develop the film and set it aside. There were some priceless gems amongst those old photos.

I *think* our Walgreens or CVS still does them. Maybe check with yours? If not you can google where to send film to get developed and several sites will pop up. I would recommend one, but I haven’t had an opportunity to try any of them out yet.
It’s going to be kind of pricey though. Film is antiquated 🤣, and developing it is now a speciality service. I’d do a couple a month. Not all at once.

I did a quick google and most places are about the same cost. Many only give you acid and no prints. I found this site that has several options but have never used them: link

The only local store that still develops disposable cameras in my area is Walgreens. It was a total waste of my money. We had 3 cameras to turn in and only about 6 pictures out of all 3 cameras turned out ok. I was really bummed as it still cost about 15.00 a camera for 6 total pictures and the rest were basically grey or black. I hope you have better luck.

I know they will send it out but not sure how much it would cost. I called Costco and they don't do it. The woman I spoke with says she doesn't know who does it, but she has disposable cameras to develop too. They are close, so I was hoping they still did it.
