I just heard both Tom Bergeron & Erin Andrews have been fired. ABC says they’re going in a new direction.

I can't believe the show has been around for 15 years.
We haven't been regular viewers, especially if there is someone in the cast we just can't watch. Looks like Bergeron felt the same way.

I enjoyed Tom Bergeron but not Erin Andrews. Felt she was blah. We stopped watching a few years ago when they started reaching the bottom of the barrel for contestants.

Interesting, are they going to have someone like Sarah Huckabee Sanders? I no longer watch, but now I’m curious about the next set.

I used to enjoy watching some of the dancing and loved seeing people like Rumer Willis and Bindi Irwin transform into incredible dancers. Awesome.
I'm not a regular viewer and wonder about politically divisive past contestants. Who were they?

I read that Bergeron is being considered as a replacement for Nick Cannon on Masked Singer due to some of his (Nick's) antisemitic comments

I read that Bergeron is being considered as a replacement for Nick Cannon on Masked Singer due to some of his (Nick's) antisemitic comments I don't follow most entertainment news so I'm not up on Nick Cannon's comments, but I like Tom so I'd be thrilled if he took over.

I’m not familiar with his comments either. It took me awhile before I thought Nick seemed comfortable on the show. The more relaxed he seemed, the better of job I thought he did. As for Tom, I think he’d be a perfect fit for The Masked Singer. I really like him. I wonder if he has enough of a music background to MC the show? Nick Cannon seem to know so many of the performers across the board but especially the singers.

We use to love DWTS, but the last few years just haven't been good. I don't think I watched must of last season at all. Tom was one of the reasons we tuned in. We enjoyed his humor. With him gone, I doubt we'll watch.

DWTS doesn't deserve Tom. He can host anything. He's a reason to tune into stuff. Maybe ABC wants to give Seacrest another job.

We stopped watching a long time ago when it became a popularity contest instead of a dance contest. Jerry Rice? Please.

I love DWTS, and faithfully watched. I'm disappointed they fired Tom and Erin. I liked them both. I'm curious to see what the other direction is going to be? I could care less who the stars were over the yrs. if I knew them or not. I enjoyed getting to know them. The judges I always loved the banter, and knowledge. I have been disappointed that over the yrs some of the pro's have not been asked back, and I really enjoy most of them, but they cont to invite some back that are just plain bad (Keo, looking at you). I will watch the new show and give them a chance.
When Did Tom tweet the above quote? It almost looks like something he tweeted last yr?

I rarely watch dancing with the stars, but Tom Bergeron is outstanding. He could really think on his feet

From the article
She was so cringe worthy that sometimes I enjoyed her because of her awkward way of talking to the contestants. There were times I was actually uncomfortable FOR HER.

Rick Perry was another really controversial one, though I'd agree that Spicer was the most divisive. Tucker Carlson? Forgot about Tucker! That said, I think when he was on, he wasn't as awful has he is at this point. Something has broken in him. He was, at one time, a rational conservative who I enjoyed listening to, even as I rarely agreed.

I read that Bergeron is being considered as a replacement for Nick Cannon on Masked Singer due to some of his (Nick's) antisemitic comments And wasn't Nick kicked off America's Got Talent for his comments? I love him as a host on anything, but don't know much about his comments outside of the shows.

I love him as a host on anything, but don't know much about his comments outside of the shows. He left. They were mad because he made a joke in his stand up that NBC took his "N" card. He got pissed and left. They say he disparaged them, he believes they tried to silence him. It looks like he was spewing conspiracy theories on his YouTube show this week. Pretty antisemitic theories. He's trying to walk some of it back now, but a card laid is a card played in my book.

I like both Tom and Erin. Tom has a great natural humor and is a quick thinker. Erin is sometimes very awkward but I thought that was her strength since she had a good heart and really wanted contestants to do well.
That being said, they have lost some of the best pros over the last few years and had a bunch of people getting far by popularity voting so I quit watching.

I've heard that Tyra Banks will be on of the hosts. No thanks. Something about her irks me.
