I just feel so frustrated -- I have worked so hard at being abundantly careful through all this. Work from home since March 14 (still am) and haven't been to any stores since that date. I have not gone anywhere, have not seen people, have not gone in anyone's home nor had anyone in mine. Wearing mask whenever I leave the house (even if outdoors). Have 1 designated family member to do shopping errands, etc. Haven't seen my 85 year old mom more than 3x in all these months. Just drop offs at her front door. Won't even go to the beach for the day in case there might be too many people around. Now our rates are higher than ever and I feel like we have zero leadership and my DD who just finished her first year of teaching (kindergarten) is being told by the state gov. that the schools MUST return for in person teaching by end of August or risk losing funding to the schools. And I work at major university and our days are numbered until all those students come back here from every corner of the country. What a colossal mess.

Wishing you and Floridians a better outcome. I think new leadership would help. www.cnn.com/world/live-news/coronavirus-pandemic-07-31-20-intl/h_13cfc5b8fe400598ec55b431cd2006dd"For the fourth day in a row, the state of Florida is reporting a record number of coronavirus related deaths. On Friday, the state reported 257 more deaths, breaking the previous record of 253 deaths, which was set yesterday, according to the Florida Department of Health. The state set previous records on Tuesday and Wednesday. The statewide resident death toll is now 6,843. Florida also reported at least 9,007 new coronavirus cases bringing the state total to more than 470,000. " According to this vanity fair article, the plan was to not worry too much about covid because it was only affecting 'blue states' “The political folks believed that because it was going to be relegated to Democratic states, that they could blame those governors, and that would be an effective political strategy,” www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/07/how-jared-kushners-secret-testing-plan-went-poof-into-thin-air
