At first glance, not that odd. Phenomenal price for the size of the house in this location. Then, you start looking a little more closely and the questions just keep coming! Columbus, Ohio Zillow Listing

It looks to me like someone added on a room each time they needed one.

Oh wow. Many colors and many styles on many levels. Some of the bedrooms seem more like corridors.

I'm getting ready to look at the pictures, but that price for that area is phenomenal.

What the..... The toilet paper hung sideways? Random plywood everywhere? A sink cabinet with your bathroom stuff in it but no mirror? The artwork? The fridge in the bedroom?
I feel like a bunch of random kids were kidnapped and forced to live there

I couldn’t really tell what was going on - it just looked extremely cluttered.

I'm going to guess the room with the bed and refrigerator is either a rental room, or a child that has moved back home. It looks like there is a crib in the room too. The rest, I've got nothing.

I expected full crazy.... not that crazy. They probably should have cleaned up a bit tho!
It's in pre-foreclosure so most likely the rooms are being rented out.

Two words describe this place....Tear Down. So much damage and poor condition. Curious what lot value is there. That's all I would be willing to pay, then I'd bring in the bulldozers.

Damage? Poor condition? I didn't see anything like that. Missing floor boards in kitchen, plywood countertop in a bathroom, ceiling damage in #26 (looks like water damage), #32 hole in ceiling (a/c vent missing?) with signs of mold, exterior water damage (especially garage area). I notice several spots on ceilings that resemble water damage. Call me picky, but those are signs of poor condition and damage to me.

It looks like there are multiple "rooms" that are meant to be all encompassing with each having a bedroom area, living space, and sort of kitchen area.
My guess is multiple room-mates or room renters, each with their own style of decor and varying levels of clutter.

Apparently you were looking wayyyyy closer than me! 😂 Not really, they just jumped out at me. I've lived in a lot of houses and done a couple of major remodels to my current home. I notice those things. Other things, not so much.

It seemed really dark yet there were curtains drawn and lights on. One or two spots looked smarter then the rest looked like a real dive. Very odd layout and not at all inviting.

The modern wooden staircase looks like it’s in a completely different house. I’ll keep that but demolish everything else.

Poor condition? I didn't see anything like that. Not shown but a tree did damage to part of the house. Tree is literally on the house according to the description

I’m so far from a neat freak it’s ridiculous but even I am having a hard time seeing past all the clutter to get a good feel of that house. You can tell it’s pre-foreclosure and they obviously don’t give a rats ass about selling it. Sad because I bet it has some potential if it’d been taken care of.

The broken garage door and washed paint/stain on the first photo of the home was my clue that this house was a money pit.

Every room has something that needs to be fixed. There are a lot of half done repair jobs. And a lot of stuff that hasn't been repaired.
I like the concept of the house, the stairway is lovely, but you might as well tear the whole thing down and start over.
Upper Arlington is a fairly expensive area- really good schools but lots of helicopter parents- one of my friends teaches there.
