If you catalog your stamps

Like many others, I use the free version of Evernote. I create a separate note (basically a file) for each stamp set. Within the body of the note, I type all the sentiments. Then I use "tags" underneath. I always tag the manufacturer, size of stamp (so I can find it easily) and any images (so for your example, I'd add a "balloon" tag and a "dog" tag). You can also tag the whole stamp set as "birthday" or "congrats," etc. This way it can exist in multiple categories.

What I really like about this method is that when I have a certain phrase in mind, I can search for it to see if I own a stamp with that phrase. It's a huge help for me.

You can also add an image of the stamp set in the note. This is something I'm working on adding slowly, since the free version of Evernote has a monthly data cap. This way, you also don't have to physically stamp each set, you can search online for an image of the stamp set. (I've been able to find some image of most stamp sets, even older ones. For ones I can't find an image, I've tagged them with a nonsense word so that later if I desire, I can take a picture of my stamp set.)

Also, if I own the coordinating die, I add "die" to the note's title, e.g. "Kelly Purkey Gilmore Girls (die)".

And this right here is why I have no been able to catalog my stamps.
I want to....SO BAD...but can't wrap my brain around it, and also now I have SOOOO many stamps it would literally take forever, and I've decided I would rather craft than organize that much.

I wanted to do the same thing, but I decided I had too many stamps to stamp them all out like that. I ended up just coding a system (using webdings and printing labels) to identify sets with multiple purposes.

For instance, my dilemma was things like "with sympathy" - many different type of stamp sets have a sentiment like that, but it may be on a set that is mostly flowers, so I would have it stored in the Floral/Nature section of my organization. So if I add the category label, which any sympathy sentiments, I include a bold capital "S", then I know by flicking thru, I can see the labels of which have a sympathy sentiment.

I like the idea of the Evernote storage, but I don't feel like going thru all the stamp sets for every sentiment. I feel like I generally have an idea of what I have and can flip thru certain categories to get what I want.

I've also had issues with the free Evernote app for some reason too, so I don't really use it as much anymore.

I also use the free version of Evernote and use tags for themes and sentiments so I can find things quickly.

I tried Evernote, but it didn't work very well. I am tech challenged.

I don't have many stamps, so I used the stamp on cardstock version. What I did do was copy the images of the stamps that were online and printed them once or multiple times.

If I felt that certain images went with more than one theme, I would cut out the image I wanted and paste that on cardstock to the other section. I write a note to the side of the image that says $1.00 stamp (they are stored together) or Echo Park fall stamps.

If there was a paper insert of the images with the stamps, I would make a photocopy. This sped up the process immensely. It hasn't been too bad to keep up with because lately it seems like newer stamp sets have the insert of the images included.

It doesn't look pretty, and some are not stamped the greatest, but I can see them clearly enough. It's mainly to remember what I do have. Some of the printed images are not the same scale of the actual stamp.

I use Evernote. I have notebooks for stamps, dies, ink, cardstock, etc
I put all stamps in one notebook. Each stamp has a photo. I add the category where er I file it and add tags with each item on the set. Ex: flower pot, dog, witch, etc. I also type out each sentiment and add any occasion it could be used for. This makes it so easy to find what I’m wanting. I also add “+dies” if I have the matching die set.

I used to use evernote, but am now also using the Color My Life APP.

I’m too lazy to catalog them by theme lol. Can I pay someone to do it? 😆

My plan is to just stamp each set on a page and make tabs to sort the pages by manufacturer. I’m hoping I can just ink up the entire set and stamp it all at once while still on the cling and not have to remove each one lol. This may not work but I’m going to attempt it.

I figure as long as I have something to flip through quickly and see what I have it will be faster than pulling out each sleeve one by one. That’s good enough for me.

Wait, the storage limit resets every month? The free version doesn’t  have a firm storage limit in total???

Your idea will work, I’ve done it.  Do you have a Misti?  Just tape the corners of the cling done on the top, ink up and stamp.  Another option would be to ink your stamps, lay a sheet of paper on top and run over the whole thing with a braver.  Now if some of your sheets have sentiments that are on the sheet vertically those will have to be removed and stamped separately so you can read them.
