No. Would you could it up and serve it to guests? False equivalency. I'd eat a lot of things I'd never serve to guests. OP - I'd crockpot it. If it tasted funny, I would stop eating it, but I don't suspect it will. Not to me it isn’t. I love my family more than anyone else on earth. My standards are not lower for them or myself. It takes just as much effort to cook a bad/so-so meal as it does to cook a delicious one. Starting out with an ingredient that is at least a year and a half past its prime, is not something I would do. If I had left it to linger for that long in my freezer, I’m pretty sure I could afford to just toss it.

It depends. How does it look? If it still looked ok (good texture, no freezer burn evident) I'd definitely throw it in the Crock-Pot. If it doesn't turn out then toss it, no reason not to try.

I'd defrost and look for freezer burn. If there's no freezer burn, then I bet it would make delicious shredded pork for tacos, etc! For those of you that don't freeze things long term, there are those of us that have and still do. I grew up on a hobby farm and farms all around us. Grandma would gift half a pig or cow every Christmas. You were still eating that meat a year later even with our family of 6. Some habits die hard-DH grew up the same way and we buy in bulk when there are good sales. Everything I vacuum seal lasts a really long time!
