You can add a customizable virtual home button to your phone. Here is a you tube video to show you how. link
Settings<accessibility<touch<assistive touch<on/off
The Galaxy S10 phone, which I have, can switch to home button or swipe. That is how I knew that iPhone could probably switch between both as well. HTH

I did that, turned on assistive touch and used the button as a home button and got into trouble. LOL! I reached for my phone quickly one day, and somehow put more fingers on my screen than I should have, and the phone locked. With the accessibility feature, you can have three fingers do something, two fingers do something else, etc. Well, I don't know what I did. And I couldn't unlock my phone. Took it the to Apple store. They thought it was my screen. It was under warranty so they went ahead and replaced the screen and while they were working on it they noticed my accessibility feature was turned on and that is why my phone locked up. Ever since then, I don't use any of the accessibility functions. Just a PSA.
