Wow if those allegations are true, that is just the most appalling and inhumane thing. I guess the issue is, given the disdain for people in these centres is anyone in government going to care?

I am not surprised. They also ignore cancer diagnoses and refuse treatment. The color of your “uniform” is color coded to whatever your “charge” is from the government agency that put you there. Doesn’t matter if all “charges” were excused and you are innocent of any wrongdoing.

Those women have no protections in those cages and now the men who rape them don’t need any What moment in history looks like this? Why? I read a meme once that paraphrased talked about how Americans continues to fail an open book test. We already know what injustice looks like. We already know the costs. Look how angry Trumpsters get when you dare to say Black Lives Matter. It's outrageous to them that a black person wants to emerge alive from a police encounter. As for the abortion issue, they don't even care about embryos, or they'd support universal prenatal care, let alone a proper system that protects and supports babies once they're born. If/when the truth comes out about what's been happening to the poor children in their detention centers, the details are going to be far worse than what we imagined. If you have the stomach, go over to the Trump Denies Climate Change thread. There's a live one just laughing at the fire destruction. Our country is being led by a monster. My own puzzle: did his followers become monsters, or were they always monsters waiting for the green light to inflict their cruelty on others? |

I was extreme prolife until a very wise person told me the same government that can force a woman to not have an abortion is the same government that can force a woman to have an abortion. Let that sink in. That’s the reason I’m pro choice now. If this administration has its way I can see this.
