Just saw it in my neighborhood tonight: Don Trump Jr, Eric Trump 2024. Hoping 2024 is a reference to their prison report dates and not to the next presidential election. UGH!

I have a REAL hard time with the idea of passing a political office down through ones family.
Didn't like it when the Bushes did it and tried to do it again, didn't like it the Clintons tried it, I really hate this as well.
What a slap in the face to the American people! The presidency isn't inherited...just, disgusting.

I saw a video of someone from a talk show interviewing people at a Trump rally. One guy had a shirt that had the names of the trump kids listed and their assumed dates of election victory. Along with “two term” but the dates didn’t line up with two terms. When the interviewer asked the man about it, he didn’t understand what the problem was—with the dates of the idea of Trump’s family taking over the presidency over the next thirty or so years.

I agree, it shouldn't be, but what about other countries that do pass it down to family? Is that wrong or is that acceptable because that is the way they have done it for years and years and years.

I'm not bothered by what other countries do. I am bothered that our country seems to be trying to go that direction. Our system of government was never intended to be passed down like a possession. Doing so completely removes The People from the process. It's offensive that these rich, out of touch assholes think this is a perfectly fine thing to do.

Drove through a lot of rural area(s) today. Saw trump signs, of course. One said: trump No more bullshit. I don't think I interpreted it the way they intended. (I read it as a directive to him)

Not wrong, those countries are rich in history and tradition, and they are operating as they see fit. The US never opted into that model, so who is Trump to change it because it fits his family's agenda? He has shattered the core values of this country and is a straight up white supremacist. The hillbillies in middle america are too dumb to see through his bullshit, and worse yet, they believe in it. Trump supporters should scare the crap out of you.

Saw a Biden sign on one side of the street and the opposite yard said:
"BYE(red text)DON(white text)"
I hadn't heard that one.

The other night I spotted a cardboard cutout of a man in someone's front window. A quick second glance and I recognized the smiling face and slightly thinner-than-real-life body of Donald Trump in this person's living room window. That was disturbing! Fortunately this is a rural area and there is no house immediately across the road that has to look at him all the time.

No. They’re too stupid to get elected. Also, they haven’t been on tv, entertaining the masses with shitty reality tv shows and random movie cameos to get elected like stupid donald trump has/did.

Too stupid? Sorry, but have you seen the types of people in America who support them? They aren’t in the slightest bit concerned about the candidate not being smart enough.

None of them said they wanted to inherit the presidency. IF they wanted to be president I'm sure they could only run for office, not change the process. I don't believe any of them even want to be president, do they? Hasn't Don Jr. even said he's not interested? Talking about this like it's fact and reveling in your disgust for it as if it's fact is an interesting take.

It has done my heart good both physically and mentally—going out for a run in our predominantly white, upper income, often entitled, republican neighborhood—the BIDEN signs out number the trump signs 6:1. (A complete 360 from 2016)

The thing is that as soon as that asshat is out of office, the lemmings will latch on to the next crazy that comes along. These people have no allegiance to anyone and have no idea who they are blindly following.

Pretty sure we fought a war a couple hundred years ago to get away from a monarchy. Apparently people spouting that have forgotten US history.

I live in California, and haven't seen ANY Biden signs--just Trump signs. I don't think Biden's VP candidate is going over very well here in my district. Maybe it's too early, or maybe I haven't traveled far enough!

Or....maybe people DO support them but don't want to put signs out because they are concerned about Trump supporters stealing them or vandalizing their house. Our house is full of people who are voting for Biden but no way on earth would I put a sign out front. I don't trust my neighbors to leave it alone.

The only vandalizing I've seen has been of Trump flags, or signs.
