Good Morning WWPeas!! I am doing SO well staying on track!! I was worried about the weekend because I was making some REALLY horrible choices (stupid Halloween candy!). Weekends my kids are with their Dad, we get busy, we eat fast food or pizza, or just whatever. That is a recipe for disaster!! So this weekend, despite some icky weather, I did my shopping. I stocked up on fruit, veggies, and good for us stuff to make this week for suppers. I washed, cut, chopped, etc. all the veggies so all we have to do is grab from the fridge, whether for snack or a meal/recipe. I was planning to make egg "muffins" for breakfasts this week (like mini quiches). I find that if I portion things out I do much better. I have a dinner menu planned for the week as well. I started on Thursday, I snuck a peek at the scale this morning. Holy Moly!! SO happy! I'll share that on Thursdays though. How is everyone else doing??

Glad you stayed on track!!! That's the best because weekends are so hard.
I weighed in this morning and had no loss, no gain. I had an almost 6 lb loss last week so I'm not overly surprised. In addition, my damn period showed up for 1.5 days... my body is jacked because I just had it for is normal duration 2 weeks ago. So I'm sure I was retaining some water.
I'm trying out fasting... not eating from about 9pm until 1pm the next day. Until today, it's been going well... but i was starving this morning. I rode with dh to his drs appt this morning so we got starbucks and I got one of the reduced fat sandwiches. And coffee. So I'll skip lunch and just have dinner.

I did pack up and bring my snacks/scale/WW friendly staples.... even bought an extra food scale. Did well til the weekend.... we did our Thanksgiving dinner and I ate some generous portions.... did leftovers yesterday... So as my MIL would say, hair shirt today...... going to do a big salad with turkey for dinner

Good morning!
This weekend was spent on my son's Eagle Project, so I did ZERO tracking, and I was too tired to cook. BUT that is complete now and I need to get back on track - I do NOT want this weight on when he has his ceremony (whenever that may be - could be a year from now, LOL).
I walked 4.5mi this morning and I need to enter my food. I had 1/2 bagel this morning and a salad for lunch. Tonight is spaghetti so I want to be on track today. This Wed is my 20th wedding anniversary, so we may be splurging on a lunch or dinner.

I weighed in down 2.4 pounds today. (Of course I weighed in up 3.7 last week after eating Chinese food for dinner the night before weighing in. LOL)
Woke up early today, did my workout and planned out my meals for the day.
Today's goal is no snacks while sitting on the couch tonight!

Brandy- Water weight sucks! I'm sure that is what my "loss" for this week is/will be. I'm ok with that though because TBH, I was really swelling/retaining water for the last few weeks. I'm so happy to have the swelling almost gone!
HockeyMom4-I'm so sorry that you are under such stress! I hope your Dad recovers quickly.
Bridget- Good for you for your loss this week!!

I weighed myself Sunday morning and was down 3lbs. So that's a start.
Question - any idea on how to figure point values if what you are eating isn't in the app nor does it have a bar code to scan?

Thanks for the well wishes.
It has been a crazy 6 weeks, my dad had a heart attack and the next day DH and I were moving DD to eastern Canada for her pre uni quarantine..... managed a quick weekend visit when he came home post surgery...... was crazy at work so this was my first chance to take some time off..... doing loads of running around and stocking up for my parents... my mom doesn’t drive and luckily their city seems to have Covid numbers well in hand, the province (and my city) seems to be in the second waive....
Hoping to not gain in the visit!!!

Congratulations!!! If there is a nutritional panel you can calculate points, otherwise I put in the item and find what I think would be closest... What item is it (maybe someone can help)

I didn’t know there was a feature on the app but I chatted with a coach and she walked me thru it.

Good work everyone! I find that the more I plan my meals and exercise, the more successful I am. Also, spending several hours stacking brick pavers probably helped me this past week. Bleah. Speaking of potatoes (I think it was cycworker) who mentioned them, Skinnytaste just posted a recipe for twice baked broccoli cheese potatoes for 3 points (or 1 point for purple). I'm a big fan of her recipes especially since she lists the points for all WW programs, plus the results are flavorful. I'm going to try these potatoes even though they contain sneaky cauliflower. Whoever thought cauliflower would ever be a trendy food? 😄 I am down six pounds (approximately--forgot to record my official starting weight). The first week is always the most impressive. hockeymom4, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. You've had a lot to deal with. Hugs to you.

So I managed my 10 days at my parents with no gain!!! Yeah me.... however, I am taking The weekend “off” and enjoying some favourites (guilt free) and will reset MONDAY....... have taken a day or two off a few times over the last 9 months and have always gotten right back on track.....
Weigh in and zoom meeting in the morning.
Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada but it is just DH and I (DD is away at university) and he doesn’t like turkey (and I did the whole feast with my family last weekend) so at least that hurdle has passed.
Thanks for the well wishes re my dad..... hard when our folks get older!!! And living away (I am about 6 hours away and unfortunately my city is one of the hot spots for Covid in our province)
