Today is Vermont Mask day in our state. ππ What (good or bad) is going on in your state?
We are trying...really trying. Keep it up Vermonters.
What is Vermont Mask day:
Vermont Mask Day is a one-day, state-wide celebration of Vermonters coming together virtually and in mask-protected socially-distant gatherings to celebrate our shared commitment to healthy communities by wearing COVID-masks branded with custom Vermont Mask Day designs and Vermont nonprofit logos.

I am pretty sure we are dancing in the street today, because it will be 75 degrees here in Minnesota!

I am pretty sure we are dancing in the street today, because it will be 75 degrees here in Minnesota! We are only going to be in the mid 60βs and we are headed toward past peak foliage in the north and higher elevations...a big slap in the face to remind us winter is coming. π. I am wishing for a few more days of high 70s just to store it up and get a few more summer outdoor activities in. I hope you can enjoy your weather and have a great day.

Mother and Father are in Utah for the VP debate. Along with Kamala Harris. Unseasonably warm temperatures; high 70's. π

And to counterbalance your mask day, my county let our mask mandate go because my governor opened us up fully and countered local government enforcement abilities. So my local government threw up thier hands and said if we cannot enforce it, fuck it.
Apparently there is no covid risk in Florida so come on down.

I am in Louisville, KY and it seems like the unrest has settled a bit here. No curfews. The news is not saturated with coverage of protests, rioting, looting and crime. It still may be bubbling under the surface, but for now, things seem more peaceful.

I liked your post to indicate I read it, not that I liked it. I am sorry, I hope that Florida starts to move in a different direction. I also hope your state leaders change course on some of their questionable decision. While we are not perfect (and we are small) and have our own issues, I have to say I do feel that our state leaders are doing everything they can for our state. Our Governor still has a televised press conference twice a week. At todayβs his beginning comments were about mask day and the high school students that created a non profit mask4missions and also came up with the concept and rallied to implement Mask day. He also thanked business, organizations, and foundations that have helped.
