If they could start to bring back the idealistic parts of the GOP, then I say good. Those Republicans would likely bring us closer as a country rather than dividing us further. Unfortunately, I don't think it will happen.
I know that many here are very left leaning, but I wonder if it truly would be considered very left if we didn't have the crazies in the right or would it be just left or slightly left.
I've always swung both ways. Some issues I've leaned left. Some right. But the current state of THE GOP and the assholes currently in charge have made me lean further left just to protect our country itself,not even just the ideals.

I think the Lincoln Project has done some very solid, valuable work in the past year, and I admire their willingness to publicly push back hard against what the GOP has become. I hope they continue to fight the good fight.
