The tips of my fingers already feel like sandpaper and winter has hardly begun! Between the hand sanitizer and the seemingly million times I wash my hands a day I already can't stand how dry they are.
So what are your favorite hand creams?

I can tell you what I hate. I got Caudalie hand cream in 3 tubes for Christmas last year and it smells too much like essential oils. It’s called hand and nail cream. Hard pass.

I like the Shea Butter hand creams from L'Occitane. Trader Joe's has a good hand cream as well, but I can't remember the name of it.

Hempz is one of my FAVORITES they carry it at Ulta. They’re BOGO 40% right now. Here’s a link to the page www.ulta.com/brand/hempzOr the Hempz website has lots more selections. Lots of scents and some very neutral ones if you don’t like smells. My favorite is the Milk and Honey, Original and the Watermelon Coconut in the summer. Very nourishes without being thick or sticky. Id also recommend Aveda’s Hand Relief and CND Almond Lotion.

O’Keeffe’s Working Hands. Repairs my hands when the knuckles crack and bleed. It’s amazing stuff.

Love it, and love the fact that you can pick it up at a drug store.

You could try putting on Gloves in a Bottle first as a barrier against the hand sanitizer and hand washing.

I like Lubriderm. I add Aquaphor at night during the winter once my fingertips begin to crack & bleed.

My favorite is L'Occitane with Shea Butter. I've recently discovered these small tubes of hand cream with shea butter at Bath & Bodyworks. There are different fragrances available. Not all of them are shea butter, so you do have to pay attention. Norwegian Formula is good, but it has a bit of a medicinal smell to me, so I only use it when my hands are really chapped.

DH used Aquaphor when his did the same early on before the nursing home got more gentle products and it worked really well for him. Rub it in after a shower and then wear cotton gloves over the top. You want something like Vaseline or Shea butter to hold the moisture in and it’s best if the first ingredient isn’t water IIRC.

When my hands feel thrashed, at night I put Bag Balm on and rub it into the nailbeds and dry cracky parts of my hands and then I put on a hand cream on top of that. No need to put gloves on. It heals me up overnight.

Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream is my go to every time. Thick, not heavily scented and it absorbs well. It really is the best.

I'm a BIG fan of Gold Bond Ultimate Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion I've tried several Gold Bond products and was not that impressed, but my sister talked me into buying Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal and I'm loving it. Bet it is similar to the Overnight. I'll have to try that one next.

I love the Beekman 1802 goat milk hand cream. It absorbs quickly but you can tell it’s still there for hours. My DH has really dry hands in winter. While there were several types/brands that worked okay but always felt oily or sticky. I finally convinced him to try the Beekman unscented and he loves it. I also got him hooked on their soaps.

I use Bag Balm on my hands and feet this time of year. I usually take a shower right before bed and put it on my hands and feet while I'm in bed. I can't sleep in socks and it takes a while for it to soak in and I don't want to walk on my floors with my feet covered in goo.

I use the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream at night before bed and Hempz during the day. I live in a high desert environment, so dry air, plus I work at a food manufacturing facility where we wash our hands A LOT during the day so my hands take a beating. If I use hand cream/lotion religiously I can keep my hands from cracking and bleeding during the winter.

I like Swedish Dream. Texture wise, it reminds me a lot of Neutrogena Norwegian, but I like the smell better. Sea Salt is my favorite fragrance. Beekman 1802 is a close second.

My hands are terrible because of hand washing/hand sanitizing/stress/eczema. I've been to the dermatologist and tried almost all of the lotions mentioned above and more. My cousin hooked me up with hemp hand cream from The Body Shop. My hands are no longer cracked and peeling. They are still dry but not unreasonably so, I wish I had pictures of when my hands looked "good". I use it in the morning and in the evening. With CV-19 I'm using hand sanitizer very frequently where as in the past I would only wash with soap and water. My skin is still intact and I'm able to hydrate them with the "approved" lotion at work which is like water. Here is a link, it is not to my cousins website but to The Body Shop. www.thebodyshop.com/en-us/hands/hand-moisturizers/hemp-hand-protector/p/p000461

I like the small tubes from bath and body works. Particularly the overnight hand relief lotion.
Josie Maran body butter is my favorite body moisturizer and I’m tempted to try the hand cream. It’s so expensive, though. I would get it at QVC but it’s still an investment. And I know I will be hooked since no other body lotion works the same as the Josie Maran.

I'm the same as you OP. Every winter my touch button on my phone refuses to work because my hands are too scaly.
I'm using Gold Bond Ultimate healing for the last 2 years. I should put it on after every hand washing but wasn't. Then with all of the hand sanitizer I now keep one in my car. I also have white cotton gloves and make a whipped lotion (my niece gave me a recipe) that helps. I'll have to get the recipe from her again for this winter. I use that at night.

Aquaphor, plain, simple. It stays on my hands, nose, and lips to heal them.

O’Keefe’s works wonders. My husband uses so much hand sanitizer as a health care worker. It has saved his hands.

Cerave moisturizing lotion during the day and Aquaphor at nights. Both saved my hands when nothing else worked and my hands were so painfully cracked and bleeding

O’Keefe’s works wonders. My husband uses so much hand sanitizer as a health care worker. It has saved his hands. Cal Stat is really good. We use it at the hospital and between each patient. When I wash my hands with soap and water I have this protective layer of gelatinous goop! We'll see if this continues in Jan/Feb!
