lilacgal I use a Gemini with my HL mat. I think this should work for you too: Sandwich : Plastic plate Self healing mat Paper Die Chipboard/paper-to shim Plastic plate You can always start with no shim and just add them until you get right results. Thanks! I’ll give this a try.

I had a mat that was like this years ago that I used for the Quickutz Epic. It warped also but would still cut most of the time. I prefer the Sizzix metal mat. I have been using the metal mat but still had problem with my top plates warping. I had it on top of my magnetic plate.

Take a drink every time the demo lady says "Scrapbook.com!" Actually maybe don't, you'll die of alcohol poisoning.
Call me a Negative Nancy, but I don't see how this is any different from any other self-healing cutting mat. Just buy a normal one, cut to size if needed. It's way cheaper than 25$. Good grief. I got a mat about that size at the Dollar Store, with a utility knife + blades for 4$ Canadian.
So wasteful with the paper too. No respect for the cost of materials.

Haha, yeah, I've always had an issue with their name. You can't just say "I got that from Scrapbook" because it's such a generic word, you have to say "Scrapbook dot com" and it's kind of a mouthful. They really should have come up with a better name or shorthand or something!
