Some cool new technology out of MIT. It turns out that people who are positive for COVD and asymptomatic differ from healthy people in the way that they cough. Although the human ear can't hear the difference, it can be picked up by artificial intelligence. Researchers recorded the sounds of a person coughing, and the software was able to detect those with COVID with 98.5% accuracy. But the amazing part is that they detected 100% of the asymptomatic positives. Can you imagine? All you'd have to do is record yourself coughing for an app, and it would immediately tell you if you were positive. Here's the study link. news.mit.edu/2020/covid-19-cough-cellphone-detection-1029

That's very cool.....though, as we know from experience, that wouldn't ensure people would quarantine and do the right thing.

That's amazing. I am continually thankful to have all of these geniuses working to get us out of this.
