I'm wondering what the future of Facebook is going to be. Is the platform going to survive Zuckerberg?
I use Facebook occasionally because there are some craft groups I follow but I spend less and less time there.

Facebook as a social media platform may phase out someday. people will move on to the next latest and greatest. ask the MySpace people. but i think Facebook the company will continue to grow and expand its interests. i believe Mark Z is very interested and invested in artificial intelligence. i also think FB will expand to more humanitarian applications in emerging countries.

I've always felt that Facebook is to social media what the National Enquirer was to journalism. I hope it falls out of favor and the much over-hyped Zuckerberg gets knocked off his pedestal.

Was that video actually streamed on FB? Or was it just linked by people? there's a big difference.

I am finding Facebook to be more and more unusable. The newsfeed repeats the same 5 posts multiple time for whatever algorithmic reason. My friend's lists don't seem to show me all my friends posts and its algorithm is frustrating. The Most Recent feed is kinda okay, but to make it work I either have to check it a lot to catch everything I want to see, or I have to unfollow just about everything except the friends I ought to be able to use the friends list for!

And yet I was locked out for many months when I dared to sign in from another state while traveling. What?! How absurd! What on earth was their justification for that? I've had no trouble logging in from another state, nor another country (Vietnam). I have known people who have been put into Facebook jail for much lesser "crimes" than what Bannon said.
