I’m listening to this audiobook and am so confused. I re-listened the first two hours because I didn’t realize it was told from more than one persons point of view. I’m not about 10 hours in (book is 17 hours long) and want to know how the story ends but every time I think I am on track with the story, a new character or time period is brought up and I’m lost again.
From the looks of the reviews, there are others who were confused as well. I’m also wondering if reading vs listening would have made a difference. But overall it had a lot of great reviews. If you have read it, were you confused? Was the last half less confusing? Was the ending worth it?

It's her worst book. I would have put it down and not finished it as I do with other books I'm not enjoying but I liked all her other books so I was hopeful it would get better. It did not. I should have put it down when I first felt like it. I read it when it was first released because I was excited for a new Kate Morton book. I couldn't hardly tell you what it was about. It may have tied up together in the end but wasn't worth it or an enjoyable ride.

I just looked on Goodreads, I gave it only 2 stars, but didn't write review, sorry. Thanks. So far I’ve spent 11 or more hours on it so I feel like j should finish. But if it isn’t worth it I don’t want to put in another 8 or however long I still have. |

It's 3.72 on GoodReads, her lowest rating. Usually your lowest is on your oldest book not your newest. She has 3 of 6 books over a 4 rating.

Yes. I don't remember it. I looked at Goodreads. I gave it 4 stars. I read it for a book club. I think I was the only one who liked it. I remember it was very confusing.

I would just google a synopsis of it because it would drive me crazy not knowing how a book ended, but I also wouldn’t waste my time reading or listening to something I am not enjoying. |

I listened to it and enjoyed it. I don't remember it being confusing, but I'm pretty good at keeping track with books that flip around a bit. I have read all of her books and agree that this one was probably my least favorite.
