Yet again Trump demonstrates that he doesn’t understand the basics of the Constitution nor the legal process in the USA.

He will know Jan 20th.
I am a bit concerned about the PA electors choosing.

<Groan> This has been the longest four years of my life. Clueless ceases to be President on Jan 20, 2020, so he doesn’t get to dictate that Joe Biden can’t enter the WH. I am so exhausted and sick of this worthless lump that I can’t stand it.

I can’t wait until they have to use the Oval Office Extraction Team. I imagine it will be a scene like in the ending of Christmas Vacation when Eddie kidnaps Clarke’s boss and the police come swinging in through the windows on ropes. Fun times!
ps, there really isn’t an OOET, but should probably think about it.

He keeps digging his reputation deeper and deeper. He will go down into history as a figure of ridicule.

Trump paid 3 million dollars for a recount in Milwaukee and they ended a bit ago--with 132 more votes. For Biden.

Yet he accepts the republican wins in the states that also used Dominion - guess Trump must have thought the machines worked correctly in those states /s. Dominion Voting Systems was used in at least 24 states in November 2020, not only the states where Trump has filed lawsuits.

Is there any chance at all that the Supreme Court could overturn this election?
I’m sick of seeing posts where it’s said that these minor appeals are just a vehicle to get to SCOTUS, where success for trump is guaranteed ? What’s the point Of an ejection if it could be possibly overturned by the Supreme Court ( majorly chosen by the sitting President ) or by state officials simply ignoring the vote ( Another truth’ I keel reading.)

the biggest amount I've ever paid for pay per view... well that’s not hard for me as I’ve never done pay per view. But I assure you I would make a hefty payment to see him dragged out. I’d pay to see him get the news after the electoral college does their job too.

I’d have said no way right up until late Wednesday. Now I have doubts. That was a clearly political ruling and it doesn’t sit well. I still don’t think there is ‘enough’ votes in play to change the election but I am not ready to say it couldn’t happen, after all no check or balance has worked in the last 4 years so we are still on thin ice imho. And will be until Mitch isn’t in charge of the Senate and some things can be changed. So your guess is as good as mine

I’m keeping optimistic because a lot of very smart attorneys are saying no, they won’t take the case. I am inclined to believe that because even I can see that their allegations are ridiculous, and they literally have no actual evidence. 🤞🏻

I am inclined to believe that because even I can see that their allegations are ridiculous, and they literally have no actual evidence. 🤞🏻 Yes, I think that the way the cases are being dismissed will make it much harder to get them to the Supreme Court. The judges’ rulings usually include verbiage about there being no evidence/no merit to the case whatsoever. It isn’t that there is actually something there that they are ruling on that the Trump campaign is objecting to, but that they have presented no substantial evidence to back their allegations. It will make it harder to the Supreme Court to even hear one of those cases without appearing highly partisan. And to make Trump president, more than one state has to have its results overturned, so that would mean multiple cases would have to be heard by the Supreme Court. Now, I never would have imagined Trump being elected in the first place, so I am willing to admit I may very well be proven wrong. I think it would be more likely that electors vote against the will of the people in their state. But, it is beyond doubt, in my mind, that Trump lost the popular vote by 6 million votes/3.9%. Unless there are shenanigans, President Biden will be installed into the White House in January 20. Just because Trump is an incredibly bad loser, doesn’t mean he gets a second term - the people have overwhelmingly voted him out of office.

If they did this then the US can say goodbye to the ballot box aa they become a dictatorship with frightening consequences.

However, we have seen publicly, and even on this board, that some of the right wing are perfectly okay with stealing the election and handing it to Trump. In fact, they aren’t just okay with it, they would actively support it.
