I'd say my picture taking is down. But it's not all related to Covid. The kids are older and not living at home full time. I definitely take less photos at events. I've learned I don't need tons of photos to tell a story.

Not really, I just have TONS of dog & sun rise/set pictures now but no people.
I mean, I guess it’s off a little. Partly pandemic, partly the stage in life im at.

I'm taking fewer photos, certainly. I think for me, Covid is a factor as I'm not doing those things that I would normally think to take a picture of. Plus, like your's, my kids are older and I just don't spend as much time with them.
On the plus side, they share photos with me, so I still have something to add to our yearly family album.

Definitely. And it's definitely because of the pandemic. I can only have so many photos of us sitting around the house doing the same things everyday. Also, we all need haircuts haha.

No - I'm taking less photos than usual. I haven't documented anything in my scrapbook since September but I only document events rather than weekly or monthly.
2020 will be a single 6x8 album for me (plus one citrus twist album) which is a stark contrast to the 7 6x8 albums I did last year.

I am taking far fewer photos - all due to COVID. We are missing so many events with our grandchildren, as we can't travel and they can't come here.

I don't really think my photo-taking is down because the kids are getting a little bigger I noticed I'm taking more pictures of food and nature. Unfortunately I can open a scrapbook store, unfortunately I'm more of a buyer than a doer🤷♀️

I'm not taking many photos at all. Because of covid I don't see my nephews very much and we aren't going to the zoo or other places like that so there isn't much to take photos of.

I’m definitely taking less, but mostly because of COVID and my DH being temporarily disabled. We used to go on outings, but not this year, and not anytime soon. We had two special family events, and I did get the usual number of photos of each of those. However, we have seen far less of our grandkids this year, so that automatically translates into less picture taking.

I'm taking a lot less and it kind of makes me sad, but I am looking forward to eventually traveling again and making up for it! My last 2 kids at home are just less involved in activities and now with FT distance learning there isn't much. And honestly, I think a lot of it is just my general mood these days. Usually the happiest part of my day is out walking in the woods with my dog, and I've already got way more pics of being outside with her than I need. I was happy to get pics of Thanksgiving, including a decent family pic outside, and getting the Christmas tree. I'm not sure what I'm going to photograph for my Dec Daily this year, I think it may be a thin one and certainly not daily.

Yes, less photos for sure. COVID is a big part, as we rarely leave our home. No more practices, Boy Scouts, trips (we were champs at weekend adventures). Very few excursions.
I feel like I’ve done a lot of at-home documenting this year, and I’m at the point where it feels hopelessly redundant. Trying to reformat my brain to see things from new perspectives. I subbed to Ali’s SK in an attempt to document less from my usual journalistic style.
But anywho, way less photos. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I’ve often found myself overwhelmed by too many pictures.

I'm taking way more photos than usual. It's mainly because I not only work from home most days now, but my husband and son are home, too. I used to be commuting and at work from 7:15 am to 6 pm Mon-Fri so I only took photos at night at home - I don't want photos of my job, so that ruled out a large part of my day. Now I'm documenting everything! Plus things have changed so that's neat to document, although I don't focus on the lockdowns, more on the ways our routines and lives have changed, with a focus on the positive stuff.
Plus my son is moving to Japan (from Canada) in March so I have to get those photos of him here while I can.

Less actual photos, but more news-related screenshots.

Overall I'm taking few photos because my boys are getting older, because one of them isn't in any activities and because the other one's activities have been cancelled because of Covid. When I do take pictures I take a lot so it seems like I have a normal amount, but really I don't. In fact, I am behind on even getting photos off my camera & phone (not to mention uploading to Snapfish) but some of that has to do with how far behind I am on scrapbooking more than anything else...trying to get that done today before December Daily starts...

I am still taking pictures but certainly fewer pictures. I've always been more of an event scrapper and we've had so few events this year. I need to make the shift to taking everyday pictures and moments pictures or I won't have much to scrap for this time period. I don't want that to happen.

Less photos, since I am home all the time now. I used to travel for work 1-2 weeks a month and would take pictures while traveling.

For me it’s generally the same. My kids are still in the younger age range, we were homeschoolers pre Covid so that hasn’t changed for us and is a big pic taking opportunity for me. I also have been taking several photography classes lately so that has increased pics for me.

I take about the same because my DGD is still a toddler. I take lots of similar photos trying to get a good one, and then I have 3 or 4 I love instead of just one.
I have a new grandbaby due in the summer so I'm sure I will be taking even more.
On the other hand, if I ask someone else to take a photo for me I am happy with one or maybe two.

Fewer photos since we've had fewer events. I am caught up on 2020. I even have Christmas done. I just need the pictures! I have one week left in 2019 to finish (cruise) and then can go back to 2002 and pick up where I left off.

I'm probably taking about the same. I've taken lots of random photos of working from home, all the little ways our routines have changed. I've noticed I take fewer photos with my camera (as in I take a photo then check to make sure it's what I want instead of just taking a dozen almost identical photos) but they are more intentional, while I still take all the random food and feet photos on my phone.
