Is anyone suffering with international shipping again?
My Ali Edwards sale order was dispatched November 3rd - and was 'processed through regional facility' Chicago International Distribution on the 12th. No tracking update since.
I'm happy to wait patiently as there must be a huge backlog with Christmas, Thanksgiving, COVID-19 etc. I just hope it's sat waiting for a space on a plane.
Is anyone else suffering with shipping at the moment?

My last order from the US wasn't actually too bad - about 3 weeks from Idaho with 1st class international, although it took a really odd route from Chicago to Hawaii, Japan, Australia and then here. I have another order on the way from Utah - from the Stamp Market, which I hope might make it for Christmas. I guess we'll see!

I ordered something from Scrapbook.com for my son to give me for Christmas, and now I'm kind of regretting it because they take forever to ship and get to Canada, so I suspect I won't see it until January. My son mailed some documents to Japan that were guaranteed to arrive in 12 business days - that was on October 6, and they're still not there - so International shipping can really suck right now! Chicago to Hawaii, Japan, Australia and then here. Your order is very well-travelled! - I only wish I could do a tour like that!

I am also anxiously waiting for a scrapbook.com order. It's been almost a month. To be perfectly honest, I could wrap it up as a Christmas gift to myself (if it gets here)...I have already forgot what I ordered.

I've had very quick delivery to Sydney from scrapbook.com. About 2 weeks from ordering to arriving. It's weird how everyone has different experiences. I've also had good shipping times from Feed your Craft, Kerri Bradford and Citrus Twist. Will not shop at AE or SC again. Their shipping is appalling. I can understand that there are delays due to Covid, but orders are just sitting for more than 10 days before they even attempt to ship and then seem to sit for weeks at every step.

I don’t know where you live but I ordered, for the first time since February, in mid-November from both scrapbook.com and Simon Says (to Canada) and both packages came much more quickly than in pre-Covid times. I took a chance last weekend and ordered from two other US places on Black Friday. Fingers crossed!

My last scrapbook.com order took over a month to get to me, that was in August. I'm in Ontario. I guess so much hinges with Canadian Customs, though, I can't necessarily blame the stores themselves, unless their packages sit in their warehouse like with SC.

You can always cry about international shipping because I don’t think it’ll ever get better. I’m so sorry it takes so long/costs so much to get your stuff! <3

Hahahahahah I usually shop at scrapbook.com because their shipping to Oz is generally the best. I have had orders arrive in just over a week And I’ve had one that took over 4 months and went via Ireland!!!!!!

It sounds like such a mixed bag of experiences! I hope everyone who's waiting on deliveries gets theirs soon.
I'll wait til January and if there's no sign of it, I'll have to see what AE customer service can do.

All shipping has gone up! It's expensive to ship period! Ugh! Yeah, and it keeps going up. DD gets her prices set for her shop and shipping changes every month. She used to do ‘free’ shipping and just price her pieces accordingly but shipping has increased so much that she separated it so customers wouldn’t think it was her prices going up. International shipping is crazy right now. Like over $20 to some places

I haven't ordered anything outside of Europe in some time, peachiceteas . Last time I had something coming from the US was smooth sailing but it was the exception this year. I don't know where I stand in terms of ordering products from the US in the future despite it being the central hub for scrapbooking. The minimum shipping cost for many smaller companies is getting close to $20 even if you just order a single stamp set. That's not a viable system long term for me (or the industry). I may just reconsider going hybrid more often and rely on SB.com for pattern papers and adhesive at this stage. Seriously, I totalled what I paid in shipping for scrap supplies in 2020, a year in which I didn't buy much and OUCH. It's not pretty. $15 here, $16 there. It adds up very quickly. I could've made a significant purchase with the money spent on 2020 shipping from the US alone. ETA: Hope your stuff reaches you quickly! Three weeks for the San Francisco hub would seem normal to me but I only had one packet travel through the international Chicago hub this year and while it wasn't quick, it wasn't this long either.
