And we don't even know why yet. He was complaining around September about a pain in his chest. I told him to call our doctor's office. Took him awhile and they sent him for tests. Yesterday he was told there seems to be a disruption of the blood flow to his heart. So now he gets to have a camera inserted into his arm so they can see what the issue is. His work though has been very understanding. Which is good because I'm currently not working due to my compromised immune system.
I'm really hoping this isn't serious. He'll be 54 this Sunday. Our youngest has anxiety so holding off telling them anything.

I am sorry that your DH is having this medical issue. Sending prayers for the doctor to figure it out and fix it; and for your DH to heal quickly.

That is scary. Modern medicine can fix so many things. Hope they can find and fix the problem.

Glad that they are doing the tests. It will be so important for moving forward for a treatment plan. You can do it!

I hope it's something that is easily fixed. I can understand not wanting to say anything to your youngest child yet, at least until you know more.

Even if it is something serious, it is likely treatable. The good news is his doctor didn't send him immediately to the ER. I hope you get answers quickly. Hugs

I hope that it is something that is easily treatable. I agree with the others who have said that it is a good sign that they didn’t immediately admit him.
I will add your family to my prayers. (((Hugs)))

Wishing your dh well. Waiting is the hardest. If it were very serious surely he would have been sent to the ER, so that's good.

Hopefully they will be able to find the blockage and correct it. Dh has had the angiogram a few times. Once they cleared a blockage with angioplasty, but the last couple of times they put in stents. Only once did he need to stay overnight.
Hoping all goes well. They can do wonders now.

Thank God you found out before he had an episode that would damage his heart. I know there are many miraculous treatments now, and I hope one of them can help him. Thinking of you.

I agree, if they didn't send him to the ER, that is a good thing. I hope it's just a minor issue!

Heart stuff is always so scary. Here is a calming thought, I hope. My DD has a CHD (congenital heart defect) and it is terrifying. But the things they can do with hearts now is AMAZING. Just simply amazing. They can fix so many things IF they know about them. So what is super lucky is that your DH found out he has something. Now to find out what and fix it. I hope you find out soon and it's something super simple.

My Dad is going thru something similar. It seems to be a lot of waiting to between appointments and what they are going to do about it. Hopefully he will have more answers tomorrow.
It seems like now that I know about it, more people have shared that they have these heart issues or someone close to them has. Hoping everything goes well for your dh.
