I am trying to do curbside pickup for IKEA for an item that is in my local store but when I get to stage where I put in my zip code it says something went wrong and to try a different zip code. I tried several area zipcodes and it won’t work.
Does someone mind trying theirs? I tried zip codes of other cities with Ikeas, but the same thing happened.
Thanks

I think it means the item is not in stock. You should check for the item when the stock resets at 11:00 pm mountain time. Thats what I had to do to get a curbside pickup.

It doesn’t matter what I put in the cart though, it could be an item that there are tons of numbers for. It has been this way since last night. Normally when an item is out of stock it tells you to remove it from your cart after the zip code part.

I can place an order for an item that my local IKEA has in stock for pick up, but I have to pick it up at an IKEA that is 3-4 hours away from me. Even though there is limited stock of the item at my IKEA, I can’t place an order for it any closer than Norfolk. If I agree to pick it up at Norfolk, I can check out with it.
The whole curbside pickup thing at IKEA just doesn’t work and I don’t think that they care, nor are they going to rectify it. I stopped trying and just go into my IKEA even though I hate to. I’ve gone twice since the pandemic started and won’t go again until this over.

I can pick curbside pickup for a huge variety of items at a store in Maryland or another in Norfolk,VA. It has been that way for 4+ months. Some stores just evidently aren’t offering curbside.

I have been pretty lucky I guess, the two times previous to this I was able to get what I wanted. Plus, I got several items yesterday afternoon, but I forgot one and now it won’t work.

I tried to do a curbside pick up recently, there were over 50 of the item in stock and they still wanted to send me to a store five hours away. I just ended up going in a half hour after the store opened, walked straight to the warehouse portion of the store and got the item I needed. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I checked where the item was located in the warehouse on my phone as I was walking in so I didn’t have to walk through the showroom portion.

Can I just say how very jealous, envious, angry, etc and any other mom descriptive I am? I had told you all my YDS is in the Navy and he is stationed in Norfolk. I haven't seen that little bugger in over a year. He is stateside and has been for the past year. But unable to travel. We got word a month ago that VA was getting tighter and his command was canceling all leaves and they couldn't travel more than 300 miles. This was for Thanksgiving leave and I am going to assume it will carry over to Christmas. He is staying with the ship he has been on for the past 3 years and was finally going to have enough seniority to get Christmas leave. I am almost broken with this news. That was like the final straw of 2020. Anyway, I saw that you could be there in 3-4 hours and I thought, Oh So Close. We could go to him or he could come to us. But alas, we are 16 hours away. Damn Covid! Anyway back to Ikea... Skellinton I have never had luck with any sort of order online with Ikea. My ODS lives about an hour from one. We tried placing a click and pull order with them over a year ago. It was such an ordeal. I think we ended up placing the order in the car on the trip over.

Try to check out after 11:00 pm Mountain time, after the inventory resets. It may solve your problem.

Try to check out after 11:00 pm Mountain time, after the inventory resets. It may solve your problem. I will, but since I placed the initial order at around noon pst yesterday and then tried to add something else just about an hour later I really don’t think that is the problem. I had my cousin try with her zip in another state and close to an ikea and it wouldn’t work for her either. Just keeps saying the zip code is wrong. Even if the item were out of stock it should offer to have it shipped, it just won’t go past the stage where I enter a zip to see my options.

Our stores have lines all day and what I need isn’t in the warehouse, sadly. I would have to go into the showcase maze to get it. Not a big deal, just wondered if it was just me or not.

When I ordered something back in July, I picked my store and then answered questions for delivery zipcode, even though I didnt want delivery, just cancel at the end. I dont think Ikea is great about changing orders. Just delete and re order. They gave me a wrong item at pick up and I called about how to exchange and person on phone said I could go back to curbside pickup and Ikea person would get correct item....No, I had to go into store to exchange. See what comes up when inventory resets. It was the only way I could get a curbside pick up. Its like buying scrapbook supplies during a release! Hth

Do you mean the zip code to pay? or zipcode to pickup at your store? Don't you just click the store you will pick up? Sorry, I am no help.
