At least they make it very clear that their Republican candidates can't win if people actually vote and that they want to do everything to encourage voter apathy and eliminate voting options. Unbelievable. The big turn out for mail in voting was because there were people who didn't want to have the chance to catch COVID19 and you know, spread it around MORE or possible die from it. And if that happens to be the majority of Democrats that are doing this, what does that say about some Republicians.? |

You see, the Republicans have *always* known this.
That is why there has been gerrymandering and attempts to limit voting/disenfranchise large segments of the population.
They just never said it out loud before, because they thought that there would be an outcry, even from their constituency.
After 4 years of Trump and then the aftermath of this election, they know that there is a very large part of the Republican Party, including those who are now howling that the election was “stolen,” who will avidly support this notion. So it has become something that they can now not only say out loud, but that serves to actually solidify and energize their base around.
70+ million people have clearly demonstrated that they are perfectly fine with limiting who gets to vote in this country. And they are the ones who also proudly declare themselves to be patriots - not really understanding what that means.
We will hear more and more GOP politicians issue statements like Gingrich and Graham, and their followers will cheer those statements and wholeheartedly support efforts to limit access to voting.
