I will preface this by saying that I am not tech savy. At all. So, I need some help, please.
While at an endless horse show this weekend, my Galaxy S4 was chowing down on it's battery and there were no outlets anywhere to be found. One of the other show parents said something to me about getting a "battery charger pack" to be able to quickly re-charge my phone when I am at these day long events. She said that you "charge" the pack and then can use that to charge your cell phone battery on the go. Can anyone give me more details about them? Any particular brands you recommend for Samsung phones? Or for 5S iPhones? My teenage kids each have an iPhone and I think that these might make really good stocking stuffers. Thanks!

External Battery ChargerWe have a few of these babies...inexpensive and work great. There are more expensive options, but these work for us. I have heard good things about Mophie Juice PacksThese attach to your phone. They cost a lot more, but last longer. I considered one for my iPhone, but didn't like how large it made my phone.

Yep, I use the Anker chargers as linked above. I like the peace of mind that my phone won't die on me when I'm out and about.

Living Social had a good deal on one this morning ,a Nako Power Bank. On sale for $9.00, regular price $40.00. I have not used this brand, so cannot vouch for it, but the price looked pretty good, I did order a couple.

My husband had an extra battery and charger for his Galaxy s4. He charges both at night and keeps the extra in his bag. I bought it for him on the Samsung website.

I have two different battery packs-not the kind that stay attached to my phone. I have no need for that type and don't want to add the extra size and weight to my phone. My battery packs are made by Jackery and EasyACC and both seem to work fine.
