This is a great ideas - I had a week off of work and have been working on albums for my new gds - already made 22 pages. I have been using up pieces of older collections. ( there were some I forgot how much I loved!)

I finished one, and started another today.
I also used a stencil I haven't used in years, and dark blue Nuvo drops (also haven't used in a long time).
3 done, 47 to go!

Tonight I'm going to do the new sheetload of cards and can't wait to add that to my total! I have pics and kits for 8 layouts (mostly doubles!), too! I got a ticker like yours, grammadee

I have to share, MAJOR win for me today...I had to run to the credit union as online banking was being wonky and I needed to check something, (was able to resolve thru the drive thru, yay) and my credit union is literally less than a mile from Tuesday Morning. I could walk there, that is how close it is. Did I go in? No, I did not!! I was sorely tempted, I really was. But I said, "Stay in your car! It is better for you, everyone else and your wallet!" Now I am back home, need to go back to work and am still wondering what I missed at TM...lol~

caught up on 5 weeks of PL spreads! (I do weekly) 6 more to go and I'm done with 2020. I'm counting a 2 page PL spread as 1 layout, so 5 down, 45 to go.

Hoping I can do the same next week when I have the opportunity to go to Michaels. I could cheat, and spend the gc I received as Christmas gifts. But I think I will save them for after my 50 pages. At least I will be able to print photos on that trip, which will speed up my page production!

Well... I was out running errands today and stopped in at JoAnn's. I kept wanting to get in there for last year's AC papers at 20 cents each, and I finally caught the sale today after months of walking in, finding them still full price, and then walking out with nothing. I didn't spend much, and I could argue that this is all stuff I planned to buy last year,... I stayed out of M's and HL if that's worth anything. Can I still play?

Just think of it as being chilly instead of frozen. Of course you can still play. I live quite a ways from a TM. I wouldn’t make the drive specifically to go there but if I was in the area I’d go in and probably come out with something. Just being realistic.

Well, I was excited to see that Paige Evans has a line at M's now, I know I'd want some of the doo-dads. But I'm safe, because we're in lockdown so M's isn't open I finished downloading ALL the photos from my phone to my laptop and organizing them. It took me many hours. I'm calling that 2 pages. I finished editting over 200 photos from camping this summer and that is a WRAP on all those photos - they are on a stick for costco. So that's another 4 pages. And I've finished 3 DD layouts (2 pages each) so that's another 3. 9 pages down! (I'm putting photos in the photo thread to keep myself accountable)

So how do you think other sized pages should count? I'm doing a 6x8 album for OLW. I'm also working on JYC with a memory book. OLW has me using the digital kit with a 2010 Simple Stories collection. It's a very distressed collection so I'm adding a lot with ink to the digital kit cards. With the JYC memory book, I'm making each page in the album. They take longer than some of my 12x12 layout because of all the interactive elements. I feel like with my memory book, each page could count like a 12x12 whereas with the OLW, maybe front and back together count as a page. Then there's the rule follower in me that says they're not 12x12 so they don't count! It can be noisy in my head at times, especially when I'm overthinking like this. All I know is that I'm using product and only have three squares on that monthly countdown thingy colored in.

I guess it really depends on your goal for the 50 pages - are you wanting to get stories told? Then I would count every page regardless of size. Are you wanting to use up stash? Then I would count as you propose, with 2 of the less involved pages counting as one. I always count my 6x8 JYC pages as 1:1.

I'm counting double page 12x12 layouts as only one page because my goal (aside from telling my stories) is to use my stash. If you feel a single JYC page counts as one, and two pages of your OLW also counts as one, then do it that way.

One more page done for me, using all papers from my scraps drawer (excluding my background of course). My goal with this challenge is to use up some full sheets of paper but to also make a dent in my scraps which are at bursting point right now.
47 pages to go!

I worked on my DD's baby book as promised upthread and I completed 29 12x12 pages. Before you get too impressed, most of those pages only needed journaling formatted/printed and a title cut on my Cameo to be completed, but it's a good start.

So I totally forgot about this challenge and bought some paper last night at Joann's. However I did make 6 12x12 pages yesterday. I'm repenting and getting back towards working on my 50 layouts. I am a bit forgetful. Last night at Joann's I forgot I was wearing a mask and I tried to blow a bubble with my gum. It was messy and my mask had bits of gum sticking it to my face. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I haven’t had much time or energy to scrap lately. I’m hoping tomorrow will be a full scrap day. I need to get an album done. The longer a big project drags on the more I do not want to work on it. I need to do journaling and some finishing touches and I’ll be several layouts into the challenge.
How is everyone else progressing?

(that's what I told myself about the JA paper sale) But closing? That is kind of a different beast...if my M's was closing, I might just say well, hell, I need to get down there.

I have to-some of them are taking at least as long as a 12x12 page, or longer due to resizing photos, and hunting for the right paper as opposed to just picking a 12x12 that will work. I say count whatever you feel is correct, one page is one page in my book!

Guess I better reset my ticker to 100 instead of 50...

But hopefully today after work I can. I'm a little disappointed that my photo order tracking is now saying delivery estimated on Tuesday, when originally it said today, but it's not like I don't already have pics to work with. They're just not the super fun holiday pics. And for the record about how to count pages... I count every size 1:1 towards the goal. My 8.5x11's are counted the same as my 12x12's.

Ok, y’all are too nice. I think I’ll count it like I suggested. I almost feel like I should do it as “fifty videos” instead of “fifty layouts”. That idea just occurred to me.
U turn! Updated my ticker. This will include a variety of of paper crafting videos but will also help me with just sitting down to create. Saturday plans are to film, film, and film!
