I’m wearing OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress topped with OPI Dream in Giltter (from the 2019 Hello Kitty collab). I’m so in love with this combo and it’s just perfect for Christmas and New Years.
What are you wearing?

Quixotic "Flying Past The Stars" shifts from emerald to teal to purple. On the fence about this one.

DD got a dip nail kit from Santa. We both have some major glitter nails. Not sure I liked the experience as I didn't realize we are putting super glue on nails. Santa did not check out the ingredients before delivering. Not a fan. Anyone else do dip?

I have, for the last few years, become a huge Sally Hansen Miracle Gel fan. I used to be an OPI only person. I am wearing a shade called Stilettos and Studs, which reminds me of stainless steel. Very unusual. They have 2 types of top coats, shiny and matte. It seals the color without light. Don't even try to take it off without 100% acetone. Crazy strong stuff. I love it and have tons of their shades now.

Zoya - Juniper pixie dust. It's a liquid sand textured glitter polish. Black with silver micro glitter and some teal and purple highlights in it. Tomorrow I'm going to put an extra thick glossy top coat on top to smooth the texture out and see if it brings out the teal and purple a bit.

I love the Miracle Gel polishes, and that you can use the top coats over any non-light cure polish. They have a good thick self-leveling formula that dries very smooth. OPI's classic Lincoln Park After Dark And because this thread is not half as much fun without pictures... Let's face it, unless you happen to know every colour in every brand, or it's obvious by the name, if someone says I"m wearing XYZ', do you know what colour that is?

Santa did not check out the ingredients before delivering. Not a fan. Anyone else do dip? I do and love it! I use revel and they are a great company who actually listens to their customers. The fb community group is wonderful! It is strong and kind of a pain to remove but that’s why it can last for over 3 weeks. Check out YouTube for good ideas to remove them. I put a little acetone in a ziploc bag and then soak my hand in that while the bag is in warm water. Just do not try and pick them off! Or use a peel base polish before you dip, like UNT, and that way you won’t have to use acetone to take it off (which sometimes dries out your hand). I’m wearing Fallen dip powder by Revel and used one of their white glow in the dark dips under it. Fallen is a white color with tiny sparkles that reminds me of a snow. On my toes I have Zoya polish a deep shimmering green from their Intrigued collection.

No idea what the colors are, someone else does my nails (in her home, she only does a few people now). The thumb and middle finger are one color and the other three are another color with chrome powder on 2 and something else on the creamy white one. I get bored with just one color.

I bought myself an Olive and June kit for Christmas. I chose mostly sheer shades, but I did get some bling. I’m wearing a gold glitter called OBVI.

The chipped remains of a gel mani from a month ago. I’m not going back for any more manis for a while and doing my own nails is futile.

I started nail stamping this fall and I love it! Zoya Lou, Maniology Chill Out My tips ALWAYS wear off even sealing them with the top coat. Any tips on how to stop it?

She was thrilled!

@gar I have the same thing happen, even with gel. The other day when I painted my nails, one hand was worse than the other. Not sure what I did differently?
I tried the Sally Hansen gel effects top coat and it didn't do anything great for me.

I tried the Sally Hansen gel effects top coat and it didn't do anything great for me. With gel, if it shrinks back a few seconds after you paint try a quick mini cure under the lamp - 5 seconds per nail - then a full 30 seconds when you finish the little finger. It’s just enough to secure it. And presumably you’re capping the tip? ETA - or you aren't properly cleaning the nails immediately before painting.

I follow Bliss Kiss's Fab 5 but I do two coats of top coat. So it's a Slick 6. I'm bare right now but will be putting Zoya's Tommy on with an Isti accent. Isti is a new PixieDust color. I didn't think I would like the texture but it's not as rough as I was anticipating.

I put Seche Vite on top of mine and it smoothed out nicely. I'm sure a thick top coat would work great. And it definitely makes the colors shine.

Thank you for starting this post! I love hearing what polish everyone is wearing!
I have been so bad about doing my nails! I have Less is Norse on my toes and about 5 different colors on my fingers (trying colors out - but it's been like this for 2 weeks). I may do a Christmas red, OPI Merry in Cranberry for our New Year's Eve party (it's always just my husband my kids and I). We joke that when my kids get married, they will pretend they have to work, and will leave husband/kids at home and celebrate with us! They go all out and are out buying food now!
