Our attachment cache is full again. Could you please take a minute to follow the process outlined by joblackford HERE to clear out attachments you no longer need? That way we will have room for the new stuff.
admin, is there any way ProBoards can give us any more space?

I pay for a Flickr account so that the pics in my posts donβt take up attachment space on the board. π

You are right, elaine. Photos linked from Flickr and other host sites don't take up room here. But photos attached directly through the attachments button do.

Yes, I know. π
Maybe others, who hate the deleting process (it is what got me to resign up for Flickr), might think of finding a hosting site for their pictures, making this regular purge less frequent.

Use desktop version vs mobile to see more options for searching.

I use the image link in the news stories I post.
How to delete:
Instead, it would be great if everyone could review their own attachments and delete any that they think are not needed any more. You can do this by using the search: - in 'What to search...with at least one of the words' put the word 'attachment' - in 'When to search...before the date' - I'd suggest Jun 1 2016 should be a good cutoff for this - in 'Who to search...by at least one of the members' put your own username Keep the default to display the results by post, and this should give you a list of all posts you have made which include attachments prior to the selected date (it will also pick up any posts where you've simply used the word attachment, but there's no way to avoid that!)
When deciding whether to keep an attachment think about whether anyone is ever likely to look at the thread/post again. If no, consider deleting. If yes, does the attachment/pic add any value - for example a pic of a room with a particular paint colour is more likely to be worth keeping than a meme. If removing the pic will mean the post/thread doesn't make any sense, probably err on the side of leaving it. On GS, I wouldn't expect anyone to remove layouts they've shared.
