Insane what some people choose to do. Doesn’t make me think any better of them or their group.

What a bunch of asses. Bringing up a drug addiction from 30 years ago to boot.
You would have thought they would have learned from their leader continuing to attack McCain years after his death.
I firmly believe that is part of the reason Arizona turned on Trump. You can't attack their long time, war hero Senator, especially in death, and get away with it.

What’s the point? She’s the widow of the state’s late senator. A private citizen, not a present or past elected official. She owes the GOP neither fealty nor explanation. And she’s broken no rules or laws.
Seems very sour grapes-ie. And tacky. Mean.

The cynical side of me says that it is a purposeful attempt to steer the dialogue away from DC and the events that happened here to something less volatile. I mean, what other reason could there be for doing it today? We are months past the election. There is a lot of water under that bridge, but not very much since Wednesday’s riot.

They're petty people - I can't begin to understand who the hell thought this was the move.

What has our country come to that a person's voting preference is something worthy of censure?

Yeah, they’ve lost 2 Senate races, so they’re really plugged in. I’ve seen the chairwoman’s tweets, and she’s out of her mind. They don’t give a damn about unity; they want their own way and are furious that they didn’t get it. Screw them.

Personally, given what I’ve seen of the Arizona GOP on Twitter, I’d call that a badge of honor. The AZ GOP in particular seems certifiable over Trump. It is not a shock to me that AZ flipped blue, if that’s the caliber of the GOP there. I take great delight in telling them that repeatedly.

They apparently censured John McCain in 2014, too. This feels like something petty & vindictive that Trump would do. He can’t lash out at a John McCain, so he will take vengeance on his widow.

What the F is wrong with them? John McCain was more of a patriot and hero than any of them could even dream about coming close to being. And yet they idolize Orange McBone-Spurs. I hope that AZ flips blue permanently.

I'll bet she's ok with that. It's really amazing how bat shit nuts the Republican party has become. I have a coworker who went to a Trump rally immediately after school one day. He dressed in red, white, and blue and had three flag poles on his white truck ready to be flagged up. I really want to make fun of him this week, but I won't. Unity. I'm working on it.

Goes along with the whatever GOP Convention that was held on Friday, they doubled down on Trump support. While McDaniel spoke out against the insurrection no one publicly held Trump responsible. And he was hailed as an important leader in the party. It was disgusting.
