I just watched James Corden Carpool Karaoke with Elton John & Barbara Streisand and I will miss both of them when they pass. There will never be another Elton John.

My favorite singer of all time is George Michael. The Christmas Day that I found out he had passed away I spent in mourning. He was my #1 since I first heard WHAM! in 1984 and that celebrity death was the hardest for me. Worst Christmas ever. I’m still so sad.

Add another vote for Paul.
Also, Grace Slick. (My first concert was Jefferson Airplane. Sadly, she was no longer with them when I saw them, but man, what a voice.)

Bruce. My first favorite musician. I remember when I was very small we went on a road trip. My parents had the Tunnel of Love tape in the stereo. We listened to it nonstop because I loved it and was quiet and content when it was on. 😂😂. It got dark, and I started to fall asleep. I guess my parents decided to change tapes or something. I jerked awake, and screamed, “No! Put Bruce back in!” They did, and I fell asleep. I have weird memories of Crayola crayons and Brilliant Disguise. Every time I hear the opening notes from that song, I get flashes of crayons in my head. I assume it was from that road trip. 😊
I have been low key sad ever since David Bowie died. He was my first celebrity crush. He was wonderfully weird, and I liked his lyrics. I miss his presence on the planet. I have him marked as a favorite on my car radio on Sirius xm, so every time one of his songs comes on I get a little alert. I like that.

I'll be sad when quite a few do, but not like I was when we lost Prince.

It’s coming up to the anniversary of David Bowie’s death, that was a huge loss for me 😪
I’m also dreading losing Bryan Ferry and Eric Clapton - I’ve lost count of how many concerts I’ve been to, but missed out on both last year as the Royal Albert Hall concerts for both were cancelled 😟

I was broken hearted when Chris Cornell died. And I'm not one to get attached or follow celebrity at all. But his voice, his music, truly touches me from my youth all the way into my adult years. And that it was a suicide was even harder and somehow easier for me to swallow. That man with the velvet voice was just like me. He struggled with depression too. Unfortunately he lost the battle. I admit I said more than one prayer for his family. And like I said, you never see me on a celebrity thread. But this one touched me deeply.

Olivia Newton John. I have loved her since I saw Grease when I was 5. I used to go to sleep listening to her cassettes. I got to see her in concert once, I was splurged and got second row seats and it was amazing. I have such a girl crush on her.

Definitely Morrissey, he's gone off the rails in the last few years and I don't have the same respect for him as I once did but he's been a huge part of my life and I'll be sad when he's gone.
He recently summed up last year “to hell with 2020. To hell with it”. Can't argue with that.

Another vote for Elton.
Our kids gave us tickets to one of his shows for Christmas 2018. His show was canceled in 2019, rescheduled for March 2020 and we all know how that went - it didn't.
