oh, these are wonderful!! the very first one, with the blurry close-up fox pic? that is me, every time I try to take a pic of one of our pets, lol.
But it's amazingly cool that all these wild animals got that close to the photographers.
eta: except for pic #9!!! crazy!!! and #11 is a perfect example of, "you don't have to outrun the bear, you just have to outrun the other guy."

Love these! I can't imagine how many hours in the cold/heat these photographers spend to get such amazing shots. Thanks for sharing.
And as a bonus it then went onto Beautiful libraries of the world. I'm a teacher/librarian in a primary school and know how long it takes to re-shelve books for 600 students each week. Not to mention the cataloguing and covering that would need to happen!

OMG, these are the best! TFS! #9 with the photographer getting attacked by the eagle! And I snort laughed at #11, running from the bear. #11 is a perfect example of, "you don't have to outrun the bear, you just have to outrun the other guy." Right?! Old mate on his knees is in a bit of strife!

I really love these-thanks so much for posting them. You have really made my day!
I especially love the shots where the animals then take a turn looking through the viewfinder. The last one is a perfect example of this.
