And I feel like I’ve accomplished so much today! LOL! 😜
A chore like that used to not even be a blip on my radar, but in these COVID-days, this feels like major accomplishment. And I even took a shower today after a 2-mile run. 😱
Now I need to take a nap. 😂
What have you done today? Even making a pot of coffee counts as an accomplishment.

"I am Woman, Hear me roar!"
I replaced the toilet guts once and it did make me feel so very powerful. Congratulations!

You've been busy & congrats on getting things done!
I did dishes, which I hate, so that's a win for today.

Great job!
I emptied the dishwasher, went through one box of stuff that has been packed since we moved in 4 years ago, and applied for yet another job.

That is very cool. Once you get past snaking it, I'm out. I am still trying to figure out why the men in my life get so excited about toilet shopping? It's a toilet.
Today I did a 10 minute power walk. For me, that's a big deal.

I went for a 2 mile walk this morning and did grocery pick up. Now I’m watching the Night Stalker mini series.
Good for you for replacing those toilet parts. Such a thankless job but necessary at times. I’m glad my dad taught me basic home maintenance so I can handle that kind of stuff around the house.

I have not had a very productive day. Couldn't work as our software was down. But I sat here goofing around online waiting for it to maybe work but it never did so a couple of hours ago we all said screw it and gave up for the day.
As for chores, I made dd and I breakfast, fed and pottied the dogs, threw some old stuff out of the fridge and ordered groceries online. DD went and picked up the groceries and I put them away.
That is about it thus far. Oh wait. I'm one of the lucky ones that received the American Community Survey this year, and I put if off and off and finally have been working on it in bits and pieces. It's a yawn fest.

elaine replacing toilet guts is by far a greater accomplish then my assorted smaller ones. Made breakfast. Put clean dishes away. Froze, wrapped mini cupcakes, bagged them and put them back in freezer. Sliced a loaf of French bread, bagged and froze it. Put the eggs in their clean shiney container. Put a 12 roll package of TP in bathroom cabinet, room for another one, will do that later. I did more then I thought. And yesterday I put away my larger then normal Walmart order.

my big deal for the day was looking at the labeled vhs personal tapes we have, boxing them up and sending them off to be digitized. my dh said.. whatever--do them all to see what we have. mostly stuff from 87-91.

I learned to replace the toilet parts in junior high! Back in the day, girls took home ec half the year while the boys took shop. Half-way thru the school year, we switched. Learning how to fix a toilet is a very useful skill - I’ve done it several times and taught my DD how to do it too. I used my Ninja Food Grill to grill filet mignon for dinner. They came out really good and I didn’t have to use the outside grill in freezing weather and snow. Win-win for me.

I made two t-shirts and scrapped on page. It's been a while since I used my heat press.

I'm impressed by your skills Elaine. If I even tried to do that, DH, would elbow me aside so he could do it; that's his jam.
I made minestrone today, paid bills, went grocery shopping, changed the sheets. Mondays are my "busy" day, designed so I can pretty much sit around on my ass for the rest of the week.

Yay you!
Today I had a zoom meeting with the designer I’m paying for my business rebrand - so exciting!
And then I took my laptop in for repair as it has the blue death screen.
I did a load of towels and then packaged a cookie order for a client pick up tomorrow.
Kinda napped a little bit too lol!

I’ll see your replacement of the toilet guts and raise you one disassemby of a garbage disposal to get a rock unstuck. That’s my big claim to fame from years ago when one of my boys put a rock in the garbage disposal. It feels good to tackle a problem like that and solve it yourself. Way to go.
I piddled today. A bit of laundry. Some silver polishing. A long ramble with the dog. Hanging out with son’s girlfriend. Cooking dinner. No big accomplishment... just a series of small stuff.

I got an ESI, so now I'm wide awake and eating a bag of chips at 12:23 AM. I feel so much better after cortisone, but I won't sleep and I'll eat everything in sight for the next 3 weeks. I worked a little, took care of my mom, got my eggs scrambled for in the morning, bacon cooked for the next few days, did a load of laundry, and cooked dinner. My bathroom electrical outlet has stopped working. I'm debating on trying to fix it myself or call the electrician who was here a couple of weeks ago. He replaced the switches in the other bathroom and put up a light fixture in my master bath- was here maybe 20 minutes -$140...
