Do you use them in scrapbooking? If so, how?
I can totally see using them for cards, but I really can’t see myself using them on a layout. Obviously, I am missing something.
This is not meant to belittle anyone who loves them. I they are really cute, but other than a few gnome stamps, I have totally resisted this trend, mainly because I just don’t see how to use them. In the past, I ignored trends that I didn’t like. The difference is that I do like gnomes, but how to use them in scrapbooking just escapes me.

My sons all have beards, and oldest grandson is trying to grow one. I tuck gnomes on their pages as often as I can. Have also used them on gardening pages. I love the papers with the gnomes doing fun things like skiing or sledding or relaxing in the pool.
But I love them and prob look for ANY excuse to use them. I guess they are almost becoming my own personal "Mickey ears" that some people always include on their Disney LO's.

I have a collection of Christmas gnomes that come out for Christmas. I have one gnome stamp set. I don’t feel like I need anything else.
They are a motif I really don’t feel connected to. Kind of like butterflies. 🤣

I bought a sheet of gnome stickers that I'm planning to use on a gardening page. After that, I probably won't use them again in my books, but I think they're great for cards

I bought the spring set of papers from Photoplay when they first came out. They are great for spring/summer/garden layouts, but that is where it ended for me. I think manufacturers just take what is popular and selling and run a mile with it.

GNOMES are the new UNICORNS. I don’t get either, personally.
I suppose I could color them blue and make them SMURFS; but it wouldn’t make them any more relatable.

I will have to check that out. I do have PhotoPlay from last year with a gnome in bunny ears. But cooking... I may NEED that set

I've only used them for cards and just have a couple Christmas gnome stamp sets. No gnome papers or embellishments.

I do pocket scrapping for my family albums. It is an assortment of mostly random everyday life. I might have a photo of my son in there just because. I could decorate a journal card I love you gnome matter what, hangin' out with the gnomies, there's no place like gnome... I know it's cheesy, but I don't take my scrapping seriously. I mix straight and round corners on one page.

I have 1 gnome die set and I use him on cards. I haven’t really used him in my books, except I might have ticked one in my planner when I first got him I’m not sure.
I haven’t done holiday pages since I got him so he might make an appearance on a holiday layout or maybe not. We will see if I ever sit down and do dec 2020.
But I think that’s it for me cards & holidays and the one gnome I have.

I am no help on this thread but chiming in anyway. I have no love or use for gnomes. I am open to finding use for them, like if my granddaughter gets a stuffed one and I take a picture. I do know that other people really think they are cute. I just can't get there. It's like clowns. Some people just cannot do clowns. I am so literal that I can only do clowns if there are actual clowns as part of my photos. So like I said, if gnomes are not part of my photos, then no gnomes.
I also don't like elves, so some people might use gnomes for holiday layouts. I am not one of those people.

I absolutely love gnomes and we have several tucked in our gardens but I haven't bought any because I'm not sure how to use them on my pages either.

I haven't jumped on the gnomes, even though I think they're adorable.
I also don't have gnomes in my home, because I'm the only one who would like them.

I have loved gnomes since I was a little kid and my older brother received the Gnomes book by Will Huygen for Christmas. I thought the book was real, lol, and I basically stole it from my brother. I have a zombie gnome in my garden currently - my husband gave it to my for my birthday years ago because he hates traditional garden gnomes since everyone has one where we live. Anyway, I've never scrapbooked with them, but I think doing some garden pages would be nice, or any pages with photos taken outdoors at my home - I could tuck a few away here and there on the page. It's not something I could use on page after page though. I might do a page about the Gnomes book and how obsessed with it I was and how I genuinely didn't realize it was fiction (I was like, 8, okay ). You could also use them for travel pages ala the Travelocity gnome.

I got gnomes once in an SG kit and luckily it was like a cute outdoor kit so I used it on a layout about a kids' garden type place we went to. I have no other plans to ever use them again. I'm with you.

I mix straight and round corners on one page. You're a wild woman! I just remembered, I have a gnome die that I used to make a page in my December album. I made Maccabees out of them for Hanukkah

I absolutely love gnomes and we have several tucked in our gardens but I haven't bought any because I'm not sure how to use them on my pages either. I used to have several in my front porch garden, till some rude person smashed them on the sidewalk by the porch. I now have one lonely gnome that watches over my garden in my locked back yard. Thank you to everyone who replied, regardless of whether or not you use or like gnomes. You gave me a few ideas on how to use them, and also let me know that I am not alone in having difficulty using them for scrapbooking. I might have a few spring cards with gnomes on them in my future, and maybe even a scrapbook layout.

I could see using them on an outdoor/backyard/gardening layout but I’m not drawn to them. I don’t have any and I don’t plan to buy any.

That's awful. I'm glad you still have one though. I think garden gnomes are adorable. When we were looking at houses years ago, we found one we liked that we called the gnome house because of the gnomes in the garden. Our DDs were little then, and they were in love with that house, just for the gnomes

Gnomes are definitely not my thing, and I think I'm fairly literal in my embellishing so I can only imagine using them on garden pages. I have a zombie gnome in my garden currently - my husband gave it to my for my birthday years ago because he hates traditional garden gnomes since everyone has one where we live. An ex housemate used to have a gnome with an axe through his head who she named Seamus after an ex boyfriend. He's the only garden gnome I've ever kind of liked.

I fell in love with gnomes after seeing grammadee's gorgeous array of gnomes on some of her pages. Especially the sledding gnomes! They don't seem to be prevalent in digital scrapping kits though. The closest I have is a Christmas kit I bought last year that has cute elf/gnomes in it.
